   Excellent. Great order experience - helpful and charming with two great recommendations. Thank you. Food arrives quickly, presentable and courteous driver, all in proper containers placed in a smart sealed lined insulated bag. All good! We opened the food and it soon became clear that this place is a cut above the competition. Fresh, tasty and quite unlike other Chinese takeaway food experiences. Excellent - number one in Norwich. 5*

   Easily the BEST Chinese food we’ve ever had — and we don’t even live in Norwich! My partner sometimes has appointments here, and ever since we discovered East, we actually plan them around their opening days so we never miss out (definitely not on a Monday!). The food is unbelievably authentic, full of flavour, and consistently amazing. 100% worth the trip every single time. If you haven’t tried East yet, you’re seriously missing out!

   We’ve ordered from East many times, and it has never disappointed. The crispy pork belly is an absolute must-have — perfectly authentic and always a favourite in our house. We order it for big events and special occasions, and it’s consistently delicious. Definitely one of the best and most authentic Chinese takeaways around!

   My favourite Chinese take away. You can get a plenty of variety of Chinese food here. I found that most of the dishes come with same ingredients like broccoli, carrot, bamboo shoot but they only differ in the sauce and the protein, so they taste fairly the same to me. However, they are all delicious and pretty cheap. I also do recommend the crispy aromatic duck.

   Really excellent takeaway. If you're ordering for delivery at the weekend just phone at 5pm when they open and be prepared to dial a few times to get through. But it's worth it. The aubergine and mince pork and mapo tofu are always excellent. Thanks East for always bringing us pleasure with such delicious cooking!

   The quality of the food is spot on. The wontons are out of this world. The spring rolls have a fantastic ratio of meat to veg. A loyalty/discount scheme that's not just for students would be nice, but you do get the quality you pay for.

3. The Humour Games! ★☆☆☆☆

   Food was lovely the first time around when we ordered in store so we decided to try it again. Regret it. We waited an hour and a half and called up. Was told it was out for delivery and as I was asking if we had been charged for delivery, despite being within 3 miles and spending over £30, the lady abruptly hung up. The delivery guy turned up charged us delivery and said we will have to take it up with the store. Are they gonna send it to us by post?! Considering that and the fact our local Chinese is about £1-£2 cheaper PER ITEM, and as you can see the portions of certain items are literally half the size you’d expect. We won’t order from here again.
