Best Indian restaurant in Norwich. Always a pleasure to dine here, the food is great and the wait staff are very talkative and friendly. Food is also very reasonably priced, starter, curry, bread and a side for £25pp (estimate).

Brilliant from start to finish, kindly accommodated me without a booking. Poppadom w/pickle was an excellent serving size/selection. Butter Chicken was one of the best I’ve had in the UK, chicken melted under a knife which made eating the surprisingly large pieces of chicken an easy task. Even the Naan was perfectly cooked and not all greasy. First true 5 star review I can give unshaken.

Dining Experience Review A friend and I decided to visit this eatery for a light evening meal after receiving positive feedback from another friend who had recently enjoyed their meal there. As we entered, we were greeted by a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, which contributed to a pleasant dining experience. Since my friend is a vegetarian, I opted for a vegetarian meal as well. While she wasn’t particularly impressed with one of her side dishes, I was very satisfied with my choice and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The total for our dining experience, including a takeaway curry for a friend who couldn’t join us, was a reasonable £37. Additionally, the gentlemen’s toilets were well-maintained and presentable. One thing to note is that finding a free parking spot can be quite challenging due to the location's proximity to the city center; however, there is a multi-story car park less than five minutes away.

I've been wanting to visit for ages now and at last, Christmas Eve, my Daughter took me there. Drinking Rum in a cocktail bar just up the road now but I can confirm the 5 stars are genuine. Excellent! ❤

CHEMIST A ★★★☆☆
I can only comment on the dishes I sampled - all vegetarian. The other guests I dined with all had meat and fish dishes and were more than impressed. All in all, the service and entire place is amazing - well lit, decor, nice smell, feels special, but just needs a bit of improvement on vegetarian dishes and flavours. My veg biriyani was more or less just like boiled rice and the tarka daal with it was ordinary too. The paneer starter lacked any distinct or interesting flavours. Just like the decor and ambiance - looks the part and overtly impressive, but that's about it. Willing to return again for another try in a few months time to see if there is any improvement or this was just a one-off...

Arranged for a group of work colleagues to meet here for an after work social. Booked the table for 6pm but arrived just before 5:30 for pre meal drinks… no such luck the door was locked so we went around the corner to another place that was prepared for service. Once we we’re in the atmosphere was nice, warm and cosy. We we’re sat on the table furthest from the door. Food was enjoyed by all, arrived hot and was delicious although the portions are a bit on the small side. I agree with some of the comments regarding service, it needs slight improvement in order to make the flow of the evening go more smoothly. One of our table ordered double gin a tonic and it was served in a whiskey tumbler when a highball glass would have been much more suitable. Another person from our party ordered a vodka and lemonade and was given vodka and tonic… it was replaced. In all I will be returning and recommend you give it a try, but be forgiving of the service staff if they make a small mistake… they’re only human.
