Another great experience with Al Haqqs, my favourite dish is the Rezala which is always the perfect mix of sweet & spicy. Service is fast & friendly & the dishes are very reasonably priced. Highly recommend 5*

We’ve used this takeaway since it restarted 5 years ago and after seeing their advertised anniversary meal deal we wanted to take part. We pre ordered at 4.40pm and suggested we were happy to collect at 7pm to allow them extra time to meet the expected demand. What I can only describe as the perfect example of how to alienate your customer base happened. No organisation, no leadership and no food. We were in the shop for 1 hour 30 mins queuing for nothing! If you want to actually receive your food, look no further than Labone across the road
Really don’t want to leave a bad review but after trying to resolve my problem with no resolution I feel I should speak out. Normally the food is outstanding but last night I ordered a takeaway and the nan bread was inedible, I tried to resolve the problem with the owner or boss as I was told, I was given three different email addresses which didn’t work, the “ boss” was really not interested when I called which is a shame. I must add that the guy who delivered was very polite and delivered on time.
Sadly, we are locals and normally enjoy our takeaway experience. Tonight was dreadful. I have eaten quite a few chicken jalfrazis. Rich tomato and lentil sauce, succulent, chicken with a hot kick. Tonight was watery, non descript sauce and chewy chicken and nothing else!! It landed into the bin. What a shame.
This Indian takeaway is amazing. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed all of the dishes we ordered. I was very impressed how the gluten free items were labelled online and boxes provided to mention allergies. I called them before placing the order to check I had confidence in them preparing the dishes gluten free as I am Coeliac. They couldn't be anymore reassuring. They said if there were any questions regarding the order they would call us. Arrived within time delivery time slot too. Would highly recommend! Shame we were only visiting on holiday otherwise this place would be somewhere we'd be visiting regularly.
Was pleasantly surprised to see that this Indian delivers to Aylsham. Unfortunately the second time we ordered there was chicken in the vegetable masala, so we won’t order again. Anyone with allergies ought to be aware that there is a risk of cross-contamination from here.
