Perfectly located & lots of parking. Service and staff were pleasant but the food was awful. I don't often leave reviews but it was really bad, maybe a different chef on a Tuesday night, I don't know but we won't be going back.
Stayed for 1 night on the 05/10/24 with my partner as we were going to Japfest at Santapod the next day and it's only 20 minutes away instead of an hour and a half from where we live. Bobby and the staff were all welcoming and friendly and our room was spotless as was our en-suite (Also get the use of a spotlessly clean kitchen to prepare your own food from home if you don't want eat in the restaurant). Went in to restaurant for a meal and the food was bang on, full of flavour and great value for money. Will definately be going back if we go to Santapod or anywhere near and need to be up early in the morning. Jeff & Georgina
Popped in for an evening meal after visiting Santa Pod. Service was swift, food was excellent and prices reasonable for a sit in meal. The only reason not to give this place 5 stars was the staff didn't make us feel welcomed, no hello/goodbye or polite interaction even though we were very complementary about their food and thanked them several times. Would be happy to visit again though and give it another whirl.
I honestly don't know what's wrong with some of these people. The food was lovely, there were 4 of us and we were all impressed. And it was as cheap as any Indian, Ā£1 a poppadom, Ā£8 to Ā£10 a main. Very good service from proud staff, they even ran us home!
If you wanna get charged Ā£2.00 per poppadom and Ā£2.50 for a glass of soda water then this is the place for you. Nice people but felt slightly ripped off. Food was ok but nothing to write home about.

Phoned up to order a meal for one, thought it a bit more expensive than I thought it would be when I picked up, checked online and they charged me Ā£18 rather than Ā£16.i thought before it always seems more expensive when I phone. Won't be using again. Also the food is not as nice as it used to be(think they lost a good chef)
A restaurant in the same building as a pub and hotel, but a separate business. A wide selection of curries, through with not many vegetarian or vegan options other than side dishes. Helpful and friendly staff.
Iām absolutely disgusted. We called up and placed a delivery order. After taking the order, the man proceeded to announce to the restaurant our entire card details, including the CVV! This is absolutely appalling behaviour and it has forced me to cancel my card and apply for a new one!
The Spice Tree. Friendly smiling bartender. Had a drink in the bar and went through to table. Waiters very helpful and friendly. Starters were generous portions and very full of flavour. The main course was no disappointment either. Good food, good flavour and good value. Great atmosphere too.will be revisiting again soon.
