   Not bad but a similar distance from Bletsoe in to Bedford I have had a larger piece of fish and slightly bigger portion of chips for £3 less. Not that there was anything wrong with the Harold fish bar it was of similar quality. Just an honest review/comment.

   Service was good but forgot part of my order and had to be reminded, a simple mistake. The food was very good with the fish and chips being presented in a cardboard box, a nice touch that is environmentaly better than Styrofoam and makes it easy to eat. The vegeburger was very well received too. Access is not that easy, on account of the very narrow road with two way traffic, but the food made it worthwhile. Consider parking away from the shop, perhaps at the park, and walking in.

   Had a different name when we pulled up. The cod father? Food was good. Although the chip and sausage/fish with sauce deal came with the sauce all over the chips. Would have preferred it in a pot.

   3 times now the fish and chips were cold and one piece of fish was mostly batter. I told them about the fact that the fish and chips were cold and they didnt seem bothered so I will not go there again. No wonder the shop is nearly always empty!

   Really good food. Serves kebabs, pizza, fish, pies and sausages all for a good price and they're pretty generous with their portions, especially the chips. All of the ingredients are fresh too.
