   Have just got home after a fantastic meal at Masala, and I'm stuffed. Saw online that they did a banquet on a Thursday evening and after looking at the great reviews and appetising menu, I made a reservation. Greated with a warm friendly welcome. Initially given a table for 2, which was fine as the restaurant was almost full, but as soon as a larger table became available, they asked if we'd like to move and have more space, which I thought was amazing customer service. The food was delicious and before each course was served, we were asked if we were ready or needed more time. It's difficult to put into words how great an experience it was. No wonder Google reviews are 4.7. will definitely be back, soon. Thanks Masala

   Mid week meal out and our first time at Masala restaurant. We got there really early so it was quiet but soon started filling up. The welcome was friendly and we were seated straight away. The menu is extensive enough for a good choice but not overwhelmingly large. The lamb tikka masala was so so good with a rich tomato sauce. Plenty of pieces of lamb too. The lamb biryani was full of flavour and the portion was big. The chicken kurma was creamy and coconutty with lots of chunks of chicken and plenty of sauce. Everything was very tasty and reasonably priced. Along with naan and poppadoms it was only just £50. Highly recommended.

   This had to be the worst Indian meal I've ever had. The Keema Rice had absolutely no flavour, Keema Naans were tough and the meat inside looked like a thin disc of rubber. Korai Chicken only had 4 cubes of chicken (£8.95), and the 'Masala Platter for 2' (£10.95)was 2 deep-fried chicken wings, 2 (over-cooked on the outside, stodgy on the inside) onion bhajis, and two flavourless cubes of chicken. I had one or two bites of everything, then it went straight in the bin. What a waste of £40. Never again.
