Very impressed to this little local pub. 3 courses for £20 on Saturday which was incredible value considering the quality. Our waitress was phenomenal, very high energy and had a lovely disposition. The venue had a fire going and had all the aspects of a classic country pub. Couldn’t ask for more!
Went here recently with friends as one lives locally for a much needed catch up. Great atmosphere and lovely menu choice for all and great home cooked food. Was nice to see they did a deal on the night we went. Had a great specials for dessert and was so filling couldn't eat it all. Great pub with great service would definitely recommend and will be back
We recently had an excellent meal at The Horseshoe. The food was delicious and all piping hot with decent portion sizes. The children’s food was just as delicious as the adults. We have dietary requirements due to allergies and the staff were all very good at checking with the kitchen what would/wouldn’t be suitable on the menu and what may have had contact due to cooking techniques. The service was friendly and welcoming, giving the feel of a homely pub. We will definitely be returning.
Such a lovely local pub. Super friendly staff, quick service, cosy decor and great food (try the sticky ribs and triple cooked chips!).
We popped in on the way back home and we are very glad we did! Lovely cheery service, and the food was great. I can especially recommend the chips :)
A great experience had a nice meal there and enjoyable game of skittles which never played before The particular variety of skittles is unique to Northamptonshire and surrounds
New staff have taken over the pub. It's their 5th week of being open. The food is good and staff are friendly. Doing proper pub food and if your gluten free or vegan your catered for. Being gf and having to decide between chocolate fudge cake or sticky toffee pudding was hard. Just couldn't do both. Hope your supported. See you soon.
We had the most lovely meal yesterday evening at the horseshoe, the food was absolutely superb it’s been a while since I’ve eaten anywhere and been so pleasantly surprised by the taste, portions and authenticity all at a very reasonable price for the fine quality you receive. The service was exceptional and very personal, I was really blown away and can’t wait to visit again. A great selection of quality wines and excellent draught lager. Thank you for a lovely evening. 5 stars all the way, this place is a hidden gem. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
All 3 of us loved the new Italian menu. Generous portions, freshly made, tasty, and looking forward to going back. Pub was really quiet which was such a shame as food was so good. Hope new owners stick it out.
An unexpected surprise! A lovely change to have proper Italian food cooked the way I remember my friends parents cooking rather than the usual commercial stuff! Friendly and helpful staff. Owner has plans to gradually introduce more ideas. Will definately be back, probably regularly and look forward to seeing this new venture grow and flourish.
