Unfortunate disaster expected good value meal but was a total mess up. After an hours wait we got a refund that was less than it should have been and no adequate apology. Nice place otherwise so big shame it spoiled my day. What was worst is waiting so long with no communication.
Great pub.food amazing.staff are top notch.gteat atmosphere. And a big thank you to Harriet and Alan for looking after me while working away.i will be returning when next in area.highly recommend a visit.
Me, my husband, our 4 young children and our pooch really enjoyed our lunch at this warming village pub. There was a lovely beer garden outback perfect for our dog, with a climbing frame and slide for the kids. We ordered 2 adult mains and dessert, and 3 childrens meals with icecream which cost us less than £25 (drinks an extra £16) the woman who served us was very polite and helpful. We would defenatly recommend and we will certainly be back the next time we're visiting the village.
Been here twice now and brilliant pub with good atmosphere landlord was friendly helpful and 2 rooms the lounge is to the left and on the right is the public bar with dart board and toilets were clean I visited today and tried the food this time was only £8.50 for 2 course at lunchtime and had battered fish and chips for main with chocolate fudge cake and cream for dessert it was really good and freshly cooked definitely recommended the food here
Came here with friends on a (quiet) Thursday lunchtime. Lovely welcome, great choice of drinks and good menu. The baguettes were very good, crispy with nice (sausage and onion, prawn marie rose and tuna) fillings served with a small salad. All very fresh and tasty. The pub has a large outdoor space with tables, a snug and a larger lounge bar. The decor is bright, quite modern, but suits the building. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Will definitely come for a sociable lunch again, it was perfect!
Okay pub could do with a good clean of everywhere cant imagine what the kitchen is like. food was pretty good considering everything good price and options available
The staff are friendly and efficient. This pub has so much potential but the food was very poor. We ordered basic pub classics but it was a let down. Im sure my sausages has seen the frying pan multiple times. I would recommend concentrating on quality and serving to a high standard. Sorry to leave poor feedback but I was hoping for so much more.
A nice pub on the High Street of Olney with great persons behind the bar and all around the pub. Beer is good and the food on offer is always of the highest quality. So if you are ever in Olney and have a few spare moments free this is a definite place to check out!
