   We ordered: Scallops, King Prawn & Crab Linguine with White wine and tomato sauce. Seafoods are delicious and I love plenty of fresh tomatoes pieces. However, the pasta is bit too soft and soggy, it will perfect if the sauce is thicker and less watery. Roast Sirloin of Beef with Yorkshire pudding & vegetables. Good quality of beef and very well cooked. Desserts Trio. Only dislike the Rhubard one. The other two are delicious. Chocolate brownie with vanilla ice-cream is not too sweet and just perfect for me. Apple pie is surprisingly quite a big portion for one person but it tastes good too. Love the overall relaxing and comfortable environment both inside and outside of the Black Horse. In summer time you can enjoy the lovely weather in their outdoor seating area. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

   Popped in here a few weeks back, my partner reveived a voucher via email as he had signed up to receive their info. My second time here and the food is always amazing as well as the drinks and service. The first time was during the summer, a lovely walk to the Pub along the Canal. Atmosphere is lovely and cozy, perfect for couples and groups. Great after an autumn/ winter walk too, which we did a couple of weeks back. Good selection of food and nibbles as well as drinks! Staff are friendly and accommadating. Waiting time for food is very good. Thank you to Julie for her hospitality.

   Cosy and atmospheric pub alongside the canal. We went on a weekday for some dinner, after only having drinks here and hearing only good things about the food so we thought we'd try it out. There was plenty of seating indoors and outdoors so we sat on the balcony. Service was relatively quick to begin with but as there is fewer staff outside it took a while for food to come out. The food was nice but nothing to write home about, especially given the price. Could easily be knocked down £5 a dish. Portion sizes were quite small too. That being said, the food was enjoyed. Our waitress was super attentive and friendly and apologised for the lateness of food, explaining that she was the only one outside. The setting is beautiful and completely transforms you out of concretes and roundabouts of MK. Overall a nice place to go but perhaps only for a drink.

   Great pub near the natural reserve. Upscale atmosphere and classic pub dishes, expertly made and really tasty. Beautiful outdoors as indoors, lots of parking. Really competent and polite staff. Best sticky toffee pudding I've had in quite a while.

   Splendid evening out along the canal, with excellent food and delightful service. We tried a number of starters (the tomato and basil soup, duck parfait, prawns and the scallops) and one main: the fish cakes. All were equally tasty and the wine nicely paired with our food. Price and quality ratio was good. It was a balmy summer's evening so the canal location was perfect!

   Nice gastro pub in the old part of Milton Keynes. All the servers we had were so friendly, drinks where poured quickly and checked on frequently. Food was very nice and portioned correctly to its cost. Drinks prices where also reasonable and don't miss on having the sticky toffee pudding. Outside the road sign needs a brighter light. It's hard to see at night the entrance to this lovely spot.
