This hidden gem is simply amazing. Just on the outskirts of Pontypridd Town Centre with a small Carpark opposite. It is very cosy but full of atmosphere. Each course we had was exceptionally good, full of taste and very well presented. This will definitely be a place we come back to. Staff were pleasant and the food was brought out pipping hot.

Packed house on a Wednesday evening. Food was tasty and authentic. Felt very rushed for the price. Definitely not fast food prices. £30 each and the drink was a can. Went with family for an evening out and were in and out in and hour. Really didn't feel like a relaxed evening out. Disappointed.

We dined at Janet’s on 30/07/25, our overall experience wasnt great and rhis unfortunately came down to the service. The server we had was borderline rude, it took a while for us to be served and when served her attention was drawn away so our order was only half taken. We were asked about dietary requirements to which I asked the server if any of the dishes we ordered had any pork/ pork contaminations her reply was “I think you’ll be okay”, her uncertainty put me on edge and she never came back to clarify weather the food did/didnt have pork contamination. when the drinks came the cans and glasses were slammed on the table. The food arrived and was delicious and good value for money. However, we were not checked on during our meal. We had to wait 10 minutes after finishing before our plates were collected and to ask for the bill. Overall - good food & bad service which unfortunately put a dampen on our experience .

Visited Janet’s today for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. Leagues above the average Chinese and Korean restaurants and cannot recommend enough. Plenty of choice on the menu and had a hard time deciding what to get since it all looked so good. Highly recommend the Biang Biang Noodles or the Korean beef bibimbap. Will definitely be back!

Family meal to celebrate my son's birthday. Heard great things about Janet's and it didn't disappoint. Food was fantastic, service was great - even helping to take a birthday pic of the group, and for the quality and portions you get the price was very reasonable. Easy to see why it's so popular, and why it's advisable to book in advance. Will be coming back for more in the near future, no doubt.

British Street Food Champion ‘Janets’ is a small but mighty asian restaurant in Ponty Market. I luckily bagged a walk-in table on a weekday (booking is essential on Fridays/Saturdays). Opted for the Korean Vegetable Bibimbap which arrived sizzling in a clay pot, slightly spicy & packed full of flavor. Also had a side of Homemade Tofu Gyoza which were perfectly cooked & delicious. Can’t wait to return to try the rest of the menu. Highly recommended. (ps its cash only).

Highly recommend !! Absolutely lovely, food was really top eating, great service friendly and helpful. We did order a lot for our first time will try other dishes on our next visit. Pork boubuns duck spring rolls honey chicken, generals tao chicken, beef noodle and matcha boba. Full to the brim. Defo getting the bimbap next time looked delicious. We did book ahead and arrived for 12.45 was busy full house but got alot quiter closer to 2pm. Was a bit of a wait for food but could felt longer because we were hungry and it smells good in there. As its prepared Fresh and its a smaller kitchen you can appreciate might be a slower service but food piping hot, massive flavours very filling nice wholesome and spices with the sweet tang and spice we cleared the lot. Cash only FYI. A must visit if you like the cuisine you won't be disappointed.

Award winning Asian restaurant and very busy. We were lucky to get a walk-in table so booking is recommended. Goyza excellent. Crispy and packed with pork Rice is rice. Nice but just rice Beef was incredible, very tender. Unusual to have potatoes with it but still very tasty. Malaysian noodles with sambal. Flavour, texture and spice. A little salty though. Spring rolls packed full and lightly crisped. Very high quality meal and I was very surprised how tasty it was. The Boba tea looked good although I didn't try. Dishes took around 45 mins to arrive so keep that in mind. Price was 42 pound. Highly recommended
