Started off with milkshakes. They tasted incredibly watered down and could barely taste the flavour. The ferrero Roche milkshake tasted very good though. The hotdogs and steak were good. The loaded fries were barely loaded and only had a tiny sprinkle of meat, but that also tasted good. I think the price for what we received was too expensive. The poor waitress was also all alone and rushed off her feet, although she was incredibly polite and apologetic.

Amigos is now our go-to place when we want a nice breakfast in a nice atmosphere. The food has improved each time we have been here. The dinner menu is very good and fresh now, the owner told us that he is using the 100% British Angus beef now from a local farm and he also updated the kitchen. Me and my husband came for breakfast, the staff was very polite and kitchen followed my request to cook the poached eggs a bit longer and they came out amazing just how I like them. It' nice to see that the owner remembers his customers and came to greet us personally. I am impressed how this restaurant is improving!

The decoration is really good, not busy at all week days for dinner. There was only another table with people, pretty much all the restaurant for us. The service is good, nice and friendly staff. The food is more average, desserts although they look good they are noy the best, otherwise it would be a 5 stars

A great atmosphere inside and nicely decorated with American paraphernalia and classic yank tunes. The seat booths are comfortable and a good size. 3 times I tried to get the young waitress attention when staring over at us to put in an order. It took the head waiters eye to see us. A party of six and 4 of the 6 plates are served up. 2 only ordered pancakes and waited 10minutes for these to turn up after the 4 others were served. What turned up was cold tasteless slightly moist discs from the maple syrup. Which I would expect to be in a tub not already poured on very minimally If you want an American breakfast do not expect streaky bacon because you will not get it. Egg shell in the scrambled egg. But to be fair the black pudding and sausages and hash browns was amazing quality. This place has amazing potential just the service needs upscaling and better timings for food to come out by the chef

A fantastic meal and experience! Amigo's is a relatively new addition to this area, only opening in September 2022. Housed in the former Buddies USA Diner inside the Travelodge, the restaurant seats around 80 people yet the diner is open and spacious enough not to feel cramped. I visited on a Friday evening as I was staying in the Travelodge adjacent and the restaurant had plenty of tables available. I was greeted by one of the owners, who made me feel welcome and seated me in a booth next to the window so I could watch the traffic go by. I opted for mozzarella sticks to start, followed by one of their Texas BBQ dirty smash burgers and washed it all down with a Mint Choc Chip milkshake. Every single product was delicious and the owner informs me that the burger patties are homemade on site using locally produce meats. I enjoyed the experience so much I went back and took on the 'Alabama' breakfast the following morning and again, the breakfast was top notch! A must try if you are in the area!

Pleasantly surprised, a real hidden gem. We hadn't planned to visit Amigos but glad we did, now it's not fine dining but has a good mix of American classics like pizzas, burgers and hotdogs. Has a small selection of alcohol with a few bottled beers, a cider and a few wines and spirits. Overall very clean and the staff where friendly, there was one mistake with the order which was fixed quickly without an issue. This would definitely be a good place to go with kids. Entrance is via the door to the hotel.
