   I've been a TOAST customer for years, but I stopped coming to the Brighton store because of the poor energy I felt every time I visited. However, I recently plucked up the courage to revisit to see if things had changed. What a pleasant surprise. What a great change. I'm so happy to be back. I met Elizabeth, the newly appointed store manager, she's great! She genuinely makes you feel very special. She’s attentively and listens to you and helps you find the perfect outfit. I enjoyed every minute of my time in the store... Thank you very much. I look forward to visiting the store more often!

   I hate clothes shopping - I can never find anything I like and for some reason can’t tell if things suit me or not. Was feeling miserable and in desperate need of some new clothes after surgery, and a friend took me in to Toast in Brighton. What a lovely experience - not only did I find some great clothes but the shop assistant (Michelle) was amazing. Helped me find items that looked great and made me feel good about myself, she was so kind and professional. The added bonus was learning about the Toast ethos - sustainability, fewer items of excellent quality and the shops even run a repair service and swapping events. Great clothes, great experience (thank you Michelle, and all the lovely staff). Highly recommend.

   Dark, dingy and incredibly indifferent and snooty staff - neither of whom acknowledged my presence. Store manager was busy flapping about some tech issue, the other member of staff was too busy straightening stock to bother turning around to ask if she could help. Only one size of each item on display. Walked out disappointed with the shopping experience despite wanting to make a couple of purchases. Will go to Bath shop instead where staff are much friendlier or will purchase online. Miserable shopping experience.

   I have been in contact with Toast UK about two years ago to complain about the Brighton branch only displaying sizes 8, 10, XS, and S. Furthermore when I ask for a particular item in a size 18, I invariably get told there aren't any in stock. I went in the other day and things don't appear to have improved. It is very frustrating because I love Toast clothes. I just wish they didn't claim to do a size 18 and not have it in stock.

   I love going into Toast in Brighton, not only for the fabulous clothes but for the care and attention you get from the staff, particularly Nik and Rebecca. They advise, make great suggestions but never make you feel under pressure to buy. Best shopping experience in Brighton!
