I love the menswear selection, the quality of items is good and Sam always looks after me and helps find something I like.

I saw this cute black sandals from the outside window. Thrilled, I went in to have a quick look.I haven't been even there, less than a minute (with my kids who even witnessed), this lady shouting, from 'no where ', you're not suppose to touch without letting me know '. I uttered, ' you scared me'. Where did that come from?! You lost one customer who could have bought the sandals, and maybe a bag, I suppose?! Rude.Period.You shouldn't be front of house. Sales would go up if you have someone more appealing up front. Your clothes were exceptionally unique, sad you have someone exceptionally rude.

Horrible customer service and pushy sales advisors.

Bought a beautiful pair of boots here for a reasonable price with friendly, no-pressure service. Independent shops like this are a big part of what makes Brighton such a great place to live.

AWFUL!!! I have lived in Brighton for years and often shopped in Mottoo as it was one of the only shops that has some of the designers and makes I liked however the staff in there make me just avoid it now! All the girls in there are very agressive in their sales technique and would tell you a run over beaver would look good if it meant a sale much like the red haired guy who used to work in Reiss remember him! . I used to buy quite a lot from there but I actively avoid it now which is a shame . I know what I like and although they will try to help and do care enough to try to find something for you its done in such a way it makes you uncomfortable and under pressure to buy which is a shame. I also find that whoever does the buying for them now has taken a slightly more tacky footballers wives look. Its a shame as it has good potential however the following you round the shop in order to pounce on you should you so much as stretch a hand to the hanger lets it down.
