   We were let down by a restaurant we had booked at and it was late, we called TajMahal to see if we’re still serving food which they said yes come down, The Food was Amazing , The staff were so friendly , definitely Recommend . We ordered so much food and they boxed up everything we didn’t eat so we could Take it home .

   Average food, questionable portions, incorrect item, didn't respond to me when I emailed - which was within 20 minutes of delivery, 4 days ago. King Prawn Puree - not even a child's portion (see pic) and burnt chapati. Seekh Kebab - good size, but dry & lacking taste. Aloo Gobi - very little taste Chicken Korma - ok. Some dry, chewy pieces of chicken. Vegetable Biryani - asked for Korai curry, instead of vegetable. Got the basic 'vegetable' with 2 pieces of potato, a few pieces of sweetcorn and 3 pieces of cabbage. Curry itself was of a very poor quality in taste. Tasted like they'd just made it with bog standard curry powder, instead of from scratch with spices. Not recommended.

   Not sure on this now, seems to be under new management. I have had the same dish for the last 3 years and it has always been tasty. Last night, it was far too hot, despite my asking for medium and tasted a bit bland. A mention to the waiter was met with "i'll mention it to the chef". Disappointing really as it used to be great.

   We had a family takeaway from here. It was ready on time snd staff were very polite. Everyone enjoyed their food. As usual with a first time visit to a restaurant I chose a curry dish I had never had before, as I normally do. It was advertised as medium spice but I found it under spiced and sweet. Very tasty when I added hotter sauce from my wife's dish. I obviouly chose wrong for my taste.
