Booked in to have dinner with friends, we’ve been there a few times before, and have not had any complaints up until now. The pub was very quiet for a Sunday evening, with there only being a few tables filled. When we sat down, I was surprised by how inattentive the serving staff were - everything seemed to be taking a long time for how quiet they were. We had no drinks order taken until after the food order, and the drink order wasn’t complete when it came. When we asked for the bill, someone went to get the server to help us out. A few minutes later, the same person came out to tell us that they ‘only have one server on tonight as it’s quiet’ and that she was ‘having a vape, so would be with us in a few minutes’. Although we thought that this was a strange thing to admit, and that it seemed she cared more for her vape than serving the customers, we waited - as, by this point, we were the only table left in the pub. Once over 5 minutes had gone by, we had to ask again to get the bill, as nobody had returned. At this point, a member of staff went out to the back to let the server know. There was no apology on her part, or any acknowledgement of the wait.

My wife and I had drinks a meal at the restaurant. The interior was decorated with holiday cheer, warm and spotless. The staff were excellent, friendly and very welcoming. We were treated like we were the only people there. The food was fantastic as was the service. My wife had the steak and ale pie and I had the burger. Very good portions and very flavourful. It’s a must stop every time we’re in England and the midlands. Many thanks to the bar tender. You’re a valuable asset to the pub!

Suky was an absolute star during our visit to the pub. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. Our drinks and food were served promptly, and she checked in at just the right times without being intrusive. It’s clear she takes real pride in her work and cares about making sure guests have a great experience. Suky is a real credit to the pub and we’ll definitely be back again - this was our second visit and Suky was definitely one of the reasons why!

We came here for Sunday lunch as a family of seven, and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Even though the restaurant was incredibly busy and short-staffed, our waitress Suki was friendly, welcoming, and attentive the entire time and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing, generous portions, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. Everyone at the table loved their meal. We’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, warm service, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.

Sunday roast is my favorite part about visiting the UK and this one was so good. I had the slow cooked beef rib which was flavorful and incredibly tender. I had never had beef rib as part of a roast dinner before so this was great to try!! Family had the trio of roasts and everyone went silent while eating because it was so good. On top of that the service was fantastic.

Me and two friends had a wonderful evening at the Crossroads tonight. From the greeting to the farewell, faultless! The food was delicious, hot, and served in good time. Our server, Suki, was absolutely fantastic, and nothing was too much trouble (and I can be quite demanding!) Fabulous night, and we shall definitely be returning!

4 of us visited on a Sunday lunchtime it was very busy our table was pre booked so we were escorted to our table. The menu has the usual Sunday roast plus chef specials, when the food came we were not disappointed we had huge portions and we all ordered something different our food was lovely. This pub is worth a visit it's family friendly and great value for money.

Lovely room, clean and quiet. Plenty of parking spaces. Staff we came across were very friendly , helpful and polite. Breakfast was really nice choice of cooked breakfast , or cereal, or continental. You were welcome to have a bit of all choices if you wished. The only downside for me was being unable to connect to the free WiFi despite several attempts to register and connect, and the bath being a bit narrow for the larger built people
