The food here is really yummy and tastes very authentic, especially the Wada Sambhar, and the Ghee Roast Dosa. However, the vibe of the place is a bit of a turn-off. The ventilation isn’t great, so there’s always a strong smell inside. They could also improve how they present things. For example, avoid dipping fingers in the curry when serving - use a tray to bring food to the table, and clean the table covers after every guest. And if maintaining white tablecloths is difficult, it’s better not to use them. Small changes like these can make the place look more presentable and leave a better impression.

We came as a family and we sat down and had some great poori. We loved it and came back the next day for another meal. Service was great and they put on the heaters for us understanding we were cold. Overall great, spectacular, amazing, fantastic, brilliant, wonderous and magnificent pooris.

Seriously impressed with the South Indian food here – it was excellent! As someone who loves a bit of heat, I was really happy. While the standard dishes are mellowed for British tastes, they are more than happy to crank up the spice for a proper authentic challenge if you ask! Stephy and I devoured the Chicken 65 Biryani, Chilli Chicken, and Pepper Chicken with parotta. A must-try if you're looking for a flavorful and spicy experience!

Popped in for a Massala Chai (which was gorgeous) We were made to feel so welcome & comfortable to ask questions. We ended up having a couple of snacks as well because the food smelt too amazing to not have a little something. Value for money, especially considering the portion sizes. I will be back. ❤️

Lovely dinner. Everything was delicious. Our first time eating dosas, we loved them. Chilly fish and chicken, mushroom 65, two different types of rice. All delicious. We’ll be back.

Visiting this little shop was like being transported to South India. With Tamil music playing on TV, the smell of hot food and heating ON, one could sense that the experience was going to be lovely. And it certainly was! Arriving at slightly past lunch time, the place was still busy and we managed to get a table after a small wait of five minutes. I could already see the contented faces of the customers. I ordered a ghee roast, masala dosa and a Chicken kothu roti. All of them very cooked to order and served hot. It was a party for my taste buds. Filter coffee to finish off just hit the right spot. I will definitely be back for more. Quality - 5/5 Quantity - 4/5 (could do with increasing portion size in some meals) Value for money - 4.5/5 Price- acceptable for the quality, but will hesitate slightly to be a regular for the smaller dishes like dosa and idli at these prices. Bottom line- definitely a must go place for truly authentic South Indian/Srilankan food. Eyes closed you can trust the taste and the authenticity. I was going to put 4stars but even with its flaws, this place deserves 5 stars just for the taste!!

With new location, new decor and a proper seating plan, this is a complete new restaurant. What has not changed though is the authentic South Indian taste, which makes us and several of our friends to frequent this place. Simply amazing! The service however is abysmal as was before. Be prepared to sit for long and get your items in complete different sequence than you would have instructed to. Not to mention, they have increased their prices substantially as compared to before, which is understandable as the overheads for running a bigger and better restaurant will naturally be high. However, that still possibly can't justify the menu price of £2 for one single piece of poppadom (not a portion), for instance. Hence not giving five stars.
