Shame about the food very bland hardly any spices or flavours, some of the meat were chewy and hard. They are lovely people and the service was fantastic. The food needs to be good though. Won't be going back.

Great staff, great food. I fancied a curry that wasn't on the menu, but the chef cooked exactly what I wanted. I asked for a Chicken Tikka Naga Phall, and it was spot on. I'd highly recommend that curry and this place.

Can only really review food and service as we picked up a takeaway. This was recommended to us. We had a set meal for 2 between 2 of us and there was lots left over. Everything was delicious and fresh and we will definitely order again. Would highly recommend

My Dad & I went to Purple Mango last Tuesday & Wednesday- opting to go a second time because the Tuesday was brilliant. Granted we have been to Purple Mango previously but there has been a massive gap and we are talking years. On the first night of us going I noticed a change to the inside and it looked great. Very inviting & spacious, and we picked the right time to go as the first night it started to fill up very quickly- party booking. The poppadoms and pickle selections was great as a small starter before the main meals, and all I can say is Wow. The flavours were intoxicating, and you could tell by just one bite that there were prepared from scratch. Going out to other Indiana restaurants I could tell that there there were but not with Purple Mango. And it was the same on the second visit too, even when ordering different meals. The staff were both friendly and welcoming. And once again the restaurant began to fill up about half an hour or so after we arrived. Emphasising how great a restaurant it is to go to. Highly recommended establishment to go to for a excellent authenthic meal.

Food was lovely, 100% would eat here again, the service was okay, took awhile to clear the table after eating, had to ask twice for the bill as where we were sitting was in a blind spot from the bar area... didn't get offered any of the little sweets/mints that you normally get offered, others were given them with their bill, but that was only a minor thing. I would recommend, just based on the food alone to go and visit.

Initially we were pleased as the servers were attentive and seemed polite. Unfortunately this did not last long. The poppadoms were taken away before we finished because they said they were making room for our starters. The onion bahjis starter were old, stale and dry. Things really went downhill however when the mains arrived. The service was clumsy, All of the mains were bland and tasteless, and all of the naan were greasy and burnt on the bottom. The waiting staff came over to our table six times while we ate asking if we wanted anything and when they weren't there they were watching us from the other side of the restaurant. Actually started clearing the table while we were still eating !! Avoid

First time here as visiting the area. It was OK. Went on a buffet night and there was a lot of food, too much really. The chicken was a bit dry and the spicing of the meals were very mild. I had a madras and a friend had jalfrezi and neither had any kick at all. It was all fine, but that's about as far as I'd go. If i was in MK again I would try out somewhere else.

Totally recommend this lovely place. We were looking for somewhere to eat as we were going to The Stables, and not coming from the area googled the options. Seemed to have a good write up...but I thought I'd be the judge of that, as some reviews do tend to be a little biased. Very welcoming, place looks extremely clean ( always a relief when you turn up to a place you don't know), so things started out very well. We weren't disappointed, with chicken tikka masala, lamb pasanda and mushroom bhaji being the main dishes we ordered, they were absolutely delicious and well presented. Can't fault anything about the place. All the staff were lovely and Purple Mango is even set out really well. Thanks for a fantastic meal...we will definitely make sure we eat there next time we are up that way

Great service. Staff were friendly. Food was amazing. The best biryani in MK. The chicken curry was exquisite and tasty. The whole place was beautiful and clean. Definitely would recommend it to friends and family.
