Must be a new chef because my food did not taste the same. Ordered my chicken tika masala as normal but watery sauce, no flavour and not the rich look. Normally get a Bix of chips which I love but now it's a small bag of chips feel like frozen chips. Sorry but won't get from here again which is a shame
WOW WOW WOW. Fantastic food. Had the Mixed Tandoori as a starter but what great quality meat that was.We then had Lamb Madras and Chicken Jalfrezi as our mains with garlic naanand the flavors were just out of this world. You can put in a personalised request as to how hot (chilli) you want it. Do not hesitate to dine here, you will not be disappointed.
Incredible dining experience from start to finish! The staff were welcoming and attentive. The ambiance was warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated space with great attention to detail. The food was delicious and full of flavours. Everything was timely and seamless. Definitely a top spot for anyone looking for authentic Indian hospitality. Can’t wait to visit again!
Absolutely fantastic! Abdul’s Indian Kitchen is a real gem in Daventry. The food is always bursting with authentic flavours — you can tell everything is freshly prepared with care and attention. The curries are rich and perfectly spiced, the naan is soft and buttery, and the portions are generous. Abdul and his team are incredibly welcoming — they go above and beyond to make sure every visit feels special. Whether dining in or ordering takeaway, the quality is consistently top-notch.
This place had my pants down last night with a chicken biryani for 11.95 with NO chicken. The chicken tikka masala was radioactive in colour. Food was cold and tasteless. A pretty dire and expensive nightmare. One that I shan’t be repeating.
Absolutely outstanding meal, superb service - highly recommended. Can’t fault any part of my dining experience. I ordered a chicken balti and swapped the naan bread for an amazing parata - I also ordered tarka daal - best I’ve had for ages - flavours were amazing!
I visited with a family of 4 and I must say I was amazed by the level of service I received. Umar was the waiter who served us, we were given complimentary papadoms and chutneys which was a great touch! Order was taken promptly and food arrived piping hot. I tried the Chicken Tikka Massala which was full of flavour. Definitely recommend!!
Previously had takeaway from Abdul's and, on collection, was impressed by the cozy dining area that looks like it has been recently refurbished. On that basis, we booked a table for 4 for dinner with friends. The whole experience was really good... friendly and attentive service, tasty food and very generous portion sizes. Would definitely recommend Abdul's and we'll be coming back!
