This place is so authentic. I'm from the States, found this place just randomly. Mussels were so good, loved the pasta here.

A great place to eat! The food was wonderful and the lovely man who served us was very friendly and made sure everything was okay for us. We had the carbonara and I do recommend!

I came back here with my wife after 4 years and it is still one of the coolest and most atmospheric places in this city. The food was of course fantastic (as last time), the portions are really big and you can make them even bigger for a small extra charge, and the beer perfectly complemented the diet ;) . I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well!

I'm giving one star because I can't give zero. £10 for a large lasagna portion that wouldn't fill a child. Virtually no meat or sauce and extremely rude when I called. I would advise anyone to spend their hard earned money elsewhere to avoid total disappointment. I only wish I could post a picture here

recommend! Claudio's food is cooked with passion and an authentic taste of Rome. It's cooked exactly like your Nonna would make it. With his own recipes handed down from his family. You won't get better tasting Italian food in the local area. Great for couples and families who are foodies and who can appreciate real homemade cooked food. It's laid back and is a very intimate dining experience with only 2 tables inside the most wonderful setting of a log cabin. During the summer there is some outside seating. Claudio is fabulous. Cooks food to order (so be prepared to wait). He is an entertaining friendly character where cooking is his hobby and feeding foodies is what he loves to do most. He can cater for food intolerances and allergies. Best to book in advance but he does takeaway too!

Absolutely fantastic! Food was delicious, service was brilliant and we had the whole unit to ourselves. Very child friendly, and the owner was willing to adapt the menu to suit us. Would 100% recommend visiting this little gem in Kettering
