Fantastic food, attentive and friendly waiting staff, really nice decor and vibe. Loved it, especially to adapt a meat dish to be vegetarian and offer an alternative, then go the extra mile to make it even better than expected. Really impressive all round.
We visited for my wife’s birthday, and we can confidently say this is the best Italian restaurant we’ve tried in the UK (and we’re Italian!). The food quality is outstanding, every dish was full of flavour and perfectly balanced. Everything is homemade, which is incredibly rare to find. We honestly couldn’t recommend it more. Bravissimi !
The pizza was really good, the carbonara was average..atmosphere and decor needs definitely an improvement, as prices aren’t low. Service was good. The ice cream and tiramisu are definitely recommended.
Booked in as a group of 8 for dinner in a Saturday night and got seated right away. Nice little Italian. We had the seafood starter and garlic bread. The seafood pasta and carbonara for main.
Best quality Italian food around, first time visiting and definitely won't be the last. Very reasonable price and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Can't wait to visit again and try the pasta dishes.
I feel I need to leave another review, we visit regularly and we’ll we love it, lovely friendly customer service, food is always of amazing quality and reasonably priced . It is one little gem in a sea of mediocre chain restaurants in the Uk. Oh and the takeaway pizzas are a lovely treat to have a proper Italian pizza in the Uk! As always thank you! Excellent customer service, excellent food, at very competitive prices. Total atmosphere was really pleasant. Well worth the drive out especially you need a gluten free diet, pasta tasted as good as normal pasta.
We have we been going to Salerno’s for over five years and the pizza and pasta are fantastic. The service is great and the restaurant is always warm and welcoming. If you want great Italian food (and amazing desserts) then this is your place!
