   Avoid. We were a party of seven, our experience was disappointing from start to finish. We arrived to find the reception desk unattended, with no staff in sight to greet us—a poor first impression for our group. The food was a significant letdown, and the quality felt like a blatant cost-saving exercise. The lasagna tasted like a frozen meal reheated in a grill—stale and lacking freshness. The tagliatelle was rubbery and served cold, a clear sign of being held too long. Portion sizes were shockingly small; the tagliatelle made a McDonald's Happy Meal look generous. The pizza was so thin it was almost transparent, and the starter calamari was bland and forgettable. While the market fish was reasonable, it was the lone edible exception in a meal that was not genuine Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, the indifferent service matched the subpar food. When we tried to leave, no staff were visible to bring the bill. I had to go to the front desk and ask for it, only to be told I had to wait—even after explaining I was in a rush. The only saving grace was the restaurant's location. We cannot recommend this restaurant based on our visit. This is not a genuine Italian food restaurant.

   I had the best meal today celebrating my birthday with a party of nine! The food here is absolutely DELICIOUS, but what really made the experience stand out was the incredible service. Steven, our waiter, went above and beyond to make this a truly memorable birthday. I eat out a lot, 2 to 3 times a week - and I can honestly say this was the best service I’ve ever had. Steven and the team made us feel so welcome and taken care of. What an absolute gem of a place! Highly recommend!

   Nice place for a dinner and a sunset. Disappointed that I got there at 3 pm (travelling from France to home) and found out that the kitchen was closed until 5 pm. Took a walk around the lake and came back because I really wanted to try their pizza. Pizza was probably the best and most close to authentic Italian pizza I’ve ever had around UK, but £18 for “Royal Pizza” which besides the base, chicken, mozzarella and some basil leaves had nothing else so I would say on the pricey side; prosciutto and burrata was lovely. We also had desserts which were good. Service at the table was ok but I would suggest that only one person serves at a table not 4 different people.

   It was a really nice experience dining here on a Friday night. The service staff were amazing with high gusto and great service. Food was also super tasty with a nice selection of food. However the night we went the pizza oven wasn't working so wanting to come back to try it. Overall a great experience.

   Came back to edit this review to say THANK YOU again to the lovely team at Sul Lago. I called on a busy Friday night to send drinks and dessert to my sisters table, and they were more than helpful. I didn’t catch a name but really appreciate you tracking down the table and helping me! - Such a lovely dinner at Sul Lago! If you want to park right outside the restaurant then the car park is opposite the car wash, once we figured that out everything was perfect! We ordered carbonara, truffle mac & cheese, garlic bread and broccoli. It was all great, and the service was perfect. We shared a sticky toffee for dessert, it was lush. The decor is nice, and the view of the lake at sunset is amazing, the far wall/ window looked like a back drop when we came in. Thank you so so much to whoever saw my booking note and wrote ‘maid of honour’ on my sisters dessert in chocolate, made the evening! We’ll definitely be back

   Had a great evening last night. Service was excellent. Friendly, welcoming, couldn't have been more helpful, even though the restaurant was completely packed. Gorgeous cocktails, good food (especially given the staff shortages). We'll definitely return when the full menu is on. So lucky to have this here now

   Beautiful venue with nice pizzas. The location and design make it possibly the most aesthetic restaurant in MK. The pizzas are decent, in a neapolitan style with huge crusts. The size of the crust means there isn't as much pizza left for toppings. The dough is good. The pasta was fine. Although the empty lobster shell looked nice on arrival, it would have been better if all of the meat originally inside it actually made it into the dish. The starters were all fine but I wouldn't reorder any, especially at £8 a pop. We went when it just opened and there were some teething issues with the service and the drinks, but these may be fixed now. There's a lot of head on the pints and the cocktails(!?). They also won't give you the food menu until you've chosen drinks, so you can't pair drinks with food unless you've decided beforehand. It felt like they were finding their feet, but there was nothing too bad - just a bit amateur. It feels overpriced, but everything is expensive at the moment and you pay for a great view.

   Just got back from an amazing experience at this new restaurant. Adriana n our waitress was incredible. The restaurant is lovely. The food (beef rib) was stunning. Eaten in 40 plus restaurants in 5 countries this year. This place is up there with the best. It’s also on my doorstep!!!! Amazing!!!
