   I’ve been a loyal customer at this store for four years and have always felt welcome — until today. I came in planning to buy a pair of shoes for my partner and possibly something for myself, but the experience was disappointing. The staff seemed rushed, no one asked if I had the loyalty app (as they normally do), and I didn’t feel the friendly atmosphere I’ve come to expect. I hope this was just an off day, as I’ve always enjoyed shopping here in the past.

   After purchasing DM’s (patent Chelsea boots) in October/November I was devastated to find yesterday that they seemed to have a spilt across the front of one boot. I sent a complaint to the online team, and a reply advised me to take them into a store. Living in Llanelli, the Swansea store was nearest and so I had to travel half an hour to get there. I never write reviews, as I just haven’t got time most of the time. However, the three staff who dealt with me this morning were outstanding and I’ve got to write this review. The staff were one man, and two women. The man told me quickly I was able to have an exchange. He took the time to tell me which boots they had in stock in a size 6 as mine were currently out of stock. He then handed me over to a lovely young lady who couldn’t have been more lovely. I tried on lots of different Dr Martens. She was back and fore to the stock room and I was also between two sizes and think I tried on each pair about 10 times. Nothing was too much for her. She encouraged me to make sure I got it right. The other lady was popping over to offer advice too. I actually ended up adding on money to purchase two pairs of Dr Martens because the staff were so lovely and helpful. I definitely recommend Schuh, especially the Swansea store after today. I will now be returning more often as the service was fantastic. I hope the three staff get to read this, I’m sorry I didn’t catch your names. But thank you all so much. Excellent service, you were fantastic. You deserve to be recognised. Thank you. Very happy customer.

   I wanted a pair of dress shoes and a pair of trainers, wasn't quite sure of my foot size. The person who helped me was excellent at the job - was a great conversationalist, friendly and welcoming. I had asked for multiple sizes to try, which meant a lot of boxes being carted from the stock room...all done with warmth and charm. It made me feel less guilty about being awkward :o)

   ordered online after usually being a customer who visits the store, as i had little time to go there. my order was completely wrong when arrived - wrong colour and half of it missing. thankfully the staff in-store were very understanding and helped to fix the situation, although i have no idea how such a bad mistake has happened in the first place.
