   Awful. Avoid avoid avoid! The Swansea store are absolutely atrocious. The store manager, Lee, has constantly lied to us, gone back on his word many a time and even denied entire conversations. We've been without a functioning kitchen since May this year with absolutely no accountability or remorse from the company or staff. Biggest regret ever purchasing this kitchen.

   Went into Magnet after being to many kitchen stores. Lee immediately made us feel welcome and we discussed at length what we wanted in a kitchen and the finished plan was brilliant. The price was brilliant compared to other places we had been too. We didn’t need the fitting service. Communication was excellent from Lee about delivery. My husband built and fitted the kitchen which was of very good quality. There was an issue with our chosen handles but this was sorted out promptly and new handles sent out immediately. I absolutely love my new kitchen and the team, especially Lee were outstanding. Can highly recommend Magnet.

   NO option for zero stars. I can't remember the last time I felt the need to write a review on a company, however our kitchen has been fitted nearly a year to the date and still hasn't been completed fully. The backsplash is not attached to the wall, there's a cupboard door which doesn't close and hasn't for nearly a year because it doesn't fit.. and trims peeling away on nearly every counter top. Pushed to my limits today with the promise of the fitter finally coming out to rectify (would like to point out, this isn't his fault) only to call and be told they can't find the panels required in the warehouse. AVOID PURCHASING a kitchen from this company. Quality is bad and customer service is worse again.

   My partner and I purchased a new magnet kitchen and arranged for it to be installed with Danny at Absolute home improvements who Swansea magnet use as one of their contractors and the quality of the overall install was not what you would expect from a new installation. We had quite a few issues with the install but the main issue was when we was left with water damage to our flooring, walls and skirting boards which after some investigation I discovered a very poorly fitted soil pipe connector installed by the fitters. I contacted Danny at Absolute home improvements to repair the damage caused by his poor workmanship and he gave me a time and date he would come to assess the damage so I left work early on the date agreed and he failed to turn up or even let me know he wasn't going to, I gave him a second chance to arrange a visit but he had obviously already been paid for the job and no longer cared and just ignored the situation. I then visited the Swansea Magnet store for help and frustratingly got no where with a shop full of staff not being able to help me with my complaint but I was told management would be in touch which failed to happen so I visited again and got the name of Martin Williams who is the store manager and sent him an email who said he would be at our property on a Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock to assess the damage but he failed to show up so I contacted the store and found he hadn't even left for the appointment he made and eventually turned up over an hour late. He said himself the standard was below what he would expect from one of his fitters and would get the repairs done along with fixing other issues left by Danny. After this progress was painfully slow and I had a feeling Martin and Danny were hoping if they ignore the situation it would go away so I contacted trading standards and regional management at Magnet to assist who were much more helpful than anyone at the Swansea store. My partner has been working on an NHS ward through the covid pandemic which has been very stressful and didn't deserve the added stress brought on by a damaged kitchen we worked hard to pay for. Swansea magnet and Absolute home improvements are two companies I can only recommend avoiding. This is a review of the swansea magnet store and not the product provided by Magnet which is a very good product.

   Shocking customer service..! I complained to magnet about my kitchen in new build house back in November. I've been passed around different departments and still waiting for repairs in February.. The kitchen itself is good quality but the installation is awful. Think I could do better myself! I would not recommend magnet kitchens.

   Zero rating!! Well I have just had the most horrendous experience of my shopping life!! Turned up to my appointment on time. Waited at the front of the store and no one took any notice of me even though I had just phoned whilst on my way for directions. The two women were rude and Jess the one I had an appointment booked with said “you don’t have an appointment with me, it was cancelled!” No one had notified me and I’d travelled miles to get here. Their attitude was appalling and at first they refused to give me their head office number! Their manager wasn’t available so I called their customer service who are looking into this. All I can say is I wouldn’t shop here go somewhere that has good customer service. Maybe they should send their staff to Wren Kitchens for training!!!
