   I first went to TJs on Christmas Eve 2024 after seeing a movie. It was great. So this year the group decided to book again. The booking made via a website hadn’t gone through in spite of a confirming email. Anyway the food was good, even though the one portion of chilli was cold. The biggest problem was the service, which took ages. We just think that although the venue wasn’t full there appeared to be only one server. There were 14 of us. There was a lot of waiting. But we realised there was a lack of training for a staff who were doing their best. Like bringing an item to the table but leaving empty handed when there were things to clear. The feeling of the group was that TJs should look to the cinema goers as customers and maybe do some active publicity.

   We visited the place for dinner and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The waiter was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice but everything else fell short. It took 15 minutes just to get a coffee and a soft drink, and then another 40 minutes for our food to arrive. When the food finally came, it was extremely disappointing. The loaded fries had no flavour at all, and the platter with wings and ribs tasted bland and far from fresh. It honestly felt like frozen food that had just been reheated. For a place that presents itself as a grill, we expected much better quality.We’ve eaten at many restaurants, and this was genuinely one of the most disappointing meals we’ve had. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

   I went out for dinner with a friend last week and I am pleased to say that our experiences were great! The service was very good, the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful to us. We will definitely be coming back there again and thank you to the staff for their great hospitality!

   This was our first time eating here. We are a family of 5 and had a sharing starter and a meal and pudding each and it came to under £100…. What amazing value! Food was lovely, we throughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed , staff were friendly . I believe it was the manager that served us and he went above and beyond, he even gave me a complimentary Prosecco as he felt they had been slow but I certainly didn’t feel that way… was a lovely little gesture though.    I have been to this place more than once and every single time the food is amazing!! Fantastic portion sizes (I can never finish it) and the quality of the food is fantastic. A really great atmosphere and the staff are lovely and very accommodating. Only suggestion would be to put sauces on tables so you don’t have to keep asking as they are served in sachets. Please can a member of staff tell me what Ruby (previous review) had to eat in that black bowl? Looked like some sort of cheesy pasta I must have this next time I visit, looks so tasty! Thanks guys, we love visiting!

   We are here last night and what a great experience! The food was amazing, the staff friendly and professional! We played a game of electronic darts which was so so fun! Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to have a fun and different dinning experience!

   Popped in before the cinema. Food was very good. The staff were excellent. Our waitress (Sandra) was absolutely fantastic. Very attentive without being over the top. She done a fantastic job of looking after us.

   Delicious food and extremely filling, however as mentioned in other reviews the staff seemed to really not want to be there and weren't as friendly or conversational as you might expect, not bad though! The presentation of the food was quite lackluster too as sauces were given in plastic pots and the whole meal was in a red stationery tray or something? A bit weird and seemed like maybe something you could expect from a takeaway rather than a >£10 meal. The cutlery was at least normal and a nice knife was given too.
