I give B&Q a 5 star - yes, it's five stars. Work wears, Tools - all manner of tools for all sorts of stuff; home, outdoors, etc. Professional tools, D-I-Y tools; big or small, sophisticated or regular, just name it and you get it. I am impressed

Bought a large storage item from this store. I couldn’t lift it on my own and was helped by a staff member , Sam from the garden section. He was so helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service Sam!!

Love the store…. Especially seeing that we are renovating our house and always need something…. Staff are great…. always looking to help. However, as mentioned in the last post… I was gutted to see the dying plants some of which were still in their cradles. I even offered to water them for nothing. As a gardener it broke my heart! I actually checked the job website to see if it was a lack of staff issue; but there were no jobs available… I would have gladly applied just to water the plants and pick up those that had fallen over the walkways….Please guys … you can do better than this! Water your (our) plants !

Large store with all departments available. Home soft furnishings, wallpapers, mirrors and decor available with beautiful selection. Small choice of furniture but reasonable lighting selection. Note the coffee shop to which there was a large sign above the entrance appears to be CLOSED.

They have everything you need under one roof. If they don't stock it, they will either see when shipment is due or suggest a place where you can. Staff are friendly and helpful and patient. Whilst there, there was a lady who was shouting at a member of staff ( who couldn't help them anyway). The staff member remained calm and collected the whole time.

We have been using the store for years for various projects on our house. We can normally get most things from here but have had to go online for some items. Some items can be pricey in comparison to shops online. The staff that I have spoken to have been friendly and normally are very helpful. There is now no cafe, but there is a small garden centre and trade centre. Plenty of parking but getting in and out of the shopping park can be a pain when it is busy esp at weekends.

I must congratulation Angela for her help in sorting a recent order I placed. She was extremely helpful, polite, showed excellent customer care skills AND rang me back when she said she would. The delivery man, sorry I don't have your name, was exceptionally helpful and polite. Thank you BOTH, your help has been greatly appreciated.

Good store with garden centre to compare. Not so keen on garden tools, as if you want quality, such as Felco, or Wolf, are better going to the smaller family centres. Everything else that you need they have and so far never had any problems with them.

Went there today, wanted a new drill marked £100 on the shelf came up as £115 on the till and they wouldn't honour the price on the shelf. Amazon are doing the same drill £104.95 delivered.
