    I had a very disappointing experience with Wickes’ kitchen design service. The designer was 40 minutes late for our first appointment and when it came to the design consultation, she seemed stressed from the outset. After a brief introduction I was asked to wait another 20 minutes while she worked on a design. When I shared my own layout ideas, I was told they “wouldn’t work,” but no alternative solutions were offered. I tried to encourage collaboration by saying “I’m not a designer, so I’d appreciate your help,” but was told this was offensive, which I found both surprising and unprofessional. I also asked about the kitchen dimensions and explained what we had previously in the space, to which the response was: “Well, I don’t know what your old kitchen was like, I can only go by what I’ve got here.” This dismissive attitude made the whole process uncomfortable and unhelpful. Overall, I found the service rude, unprofessional, and lacking in customer care. The only positive aspect was the warm welcome from the person behind the counter when I first arrived, which is the only reason this review isn’t zero stars.

    I had an issue with an item I purchased and James couldn’t have done more to help resolve it. I deal with a number of diy stores but I have to say the staff are so helpful. Hats off also to shakill and Steve. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Had our kitchen done with Wickes, lots of issues with things not being installed properly. Seemed like the fitters had better things to do and just wanted ours out of the way quickly. Also forgot to complete a couple of things and having difficulty getting them to come back now it’s all signed off. My recommendation to anyone else is do not sign off the kitchen until every single thing is completed no matter how small and also check everything fully

    Items are mis-labeled, if labelled at all. And items are mis-priced as a result. Update: I couldn't get a till receipt for a click & collect order today. I had to cancel the order and pay for the items again. Getting a till receipt for click & collect orders isn't an issue with other similar retailers nearby. I don't want to print my own receipt at home if I have to return an item. I won't be using click & collect again because of this. So much hassle.

    Great store, lots of stock at great prices. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Bought a large Keter storage unit at a really great price. It's really worth the visit.

    It's not easy to get any one to help you they don't seem to be bothered . It's just a handy store to visit as there's no no other store around with certain building materials. But a lot of the stuff they sell is understocked or expensive.

    Good selection, for builders and home owners or tenants. Prices range from acceptable to medium. But some stuff, you may find even cheaper, at other similar stores, around Swansea. Choice of kitchen is ok. Bathrooms and showers to, but as I wrote above, from medium to slightly higher prices.
