   Visited due to a broken pipe on a Friday. Didn’t have the piece so said they would order in and I should come back Monday to have it fitted. I visited on the Monday but they didn’t have the piece - didn’t think to give me a text or call! Had to drive back home with smoke coming out my car. Said they would contact me when the piece came in and never heard from them again..

   I took my car in for an MOT and service at Christmas. It came back with the engine fault light on. It wasn’t on before I took it in. I was told it wasn’t an issue and he would fix it in the new year. I gave up waiting in april and got the problem fixed somewhere else. But it turns out that despite what the garage owner said, the fault was a serious issue. The motor was overworking for the four months and the car is now a write off I have never been treated with such carelessness. And now I have to buy a new car.

   Saw the reviews and thought maybe it might be too good to be true but couldn't be more wrong. Richard was a really lovely guy, service and MOT was a very good price and referred me to somewhere he recommended for additional work on a leak he wasn't sure about instead of charging for labour with no result. Honest and great business, will be back.

   Richard is clearly a nice guy, but in my case I had a nightmare trying to get anything done. Firstly I had to repeatedly chase once I took my car in to find out what was going on. After four days I needed it back and was told all but one issue was fixed - this was wrong and actually none of the problems were, which was potentially dangerous and very frustrating. When trying to find a time to take it back in for the work to be done, I was given repeated excuses and eventually gave up and went elsewhere - about three weeks from first taking my car in.

   I had a problem with my car which meant it would have been dangerous to drive, but really needed to use it to get to work especially amid train strikes. I would have been very stuck if Richard hadn't squeezed me in at short notice, despite obviously being very busy after the festive period. I am absolutely delighted with the service I received and at a reasonable price! Very happy, thank you!
