Today I had my MOT carried out At this wonderful and local garage. Booking the MOT was easy and straight forward all handled with great courtesy and speed. My car passed it's MOT with 2 advisories which were properly explained to me. I would certainly recommend this to anyone. Using a local business is definitely the way forward. Thankyou

I managed to get a puncture on a Friday afternoon while needing to do a long haul drive the next day. Perkins and Robins were extremely helpful, identifying my required tire but due to it being a bit more uncommon, it was not available anywhere in the area. They proceeded to phone a private supplier and retrieve the tire and fit it all in the space of an hour, saving my weekend. Brought back for an MOT a couple months later which was also a quick and great job. Will be my Garage of choice going forward, despite moving outside the area recently.
Excellent service, took my car in for clutch repair at short notice when I had been quoted minimum wait of 2-3 weeks by other garages.
I have an old car, and needed a new exhaust .i spent the day driving around trying to get it sorted . Too busy or no one could get the part. I was told by a main tyre and exhaust fitting outlet that my only solution was to go to a small garage that still did welding . I turned up without notice to Perkins and robins and I was given a very helpful response by the receptionist who although they were very busy , immediately took my car up on the ramp and whilst it was there they rang a supplier for the part . They booked me in for the next day . They then duly completed by the job , and I was able to get back to wales .I had been so worried about getting home, or even having to scrap the car. What a great team , so responsiveness and helpful. I have used them For years . Always honest and reasonably priced . I wish they would moved to Wales near me !!
I booked into this place for the 22nd September 2022 for a mot. When I turned up at the garage the receptionist immediately started being rude and short towards me. I ignored this at first, as I was simply asking a question politely. The question was whether I needed to pick the car up today or tomorrow? I also wanted to know if the small issue was able to be resolved before the MOT took place. The receptionist who claims to own the bussiness was still talking to me in a rude manner. She then didn't like the fact I was enquiring about when they would call me roughly regarding the car and decided to say " Here's your key, take your car else where " at this point I had my baby in the pram with all our things outside. I was nearly in tears feeling hopeless. I asked if I could have a explanation as to why she has turned me away. She said she didn't like my attitude, even though I had been nothing but polite to her. I just needed to know when I would hear back from them. I stood there with my baby and asked if she could not do this as Its difficult as it is with a 12 week old baby. She responded and said we don't accept people like you. I then said is it because of the colour of my skin. She laughed and looked at me in disgust. She then started to shout abuse at me , telling me to go away from the door. She called me pathetic even though I was upset. I stood for a min or 2 quiet hoping she would understand how hard it is being turned away with a baby when all I needed was to have my car sorted. After being shouted go away at several times I walked back to the car with my baby and I drove outside reception got out of the car by myself and told the woman as confidently as I could to never abuse her power. I told her to have some respect for her customers etc. Never in my life have I come across such a BULLY & RASCIST. I will be staying well away from PERKINS AND ROBINS GARAGE
I’ve been going to P&R for years to service and fix my car. In my opinion, they are simply the best garage in the Shoreham area. Reliable and professional. Thank you for keeping me and my little car happy!
