   Very good. Portions for one person are enough for two people. My delivery said 55 mins, they were early!! 17 minutes!! Chicken balls are lush!!

   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 - tasty but overpriced. Tasty food and good portions, though a little on the pricey side (£53 for our order, usually £35–40 elsewhere). Beef in black bean was slightly salty but one of the best in Bedford, and the chicken balls were excellent – big, homemade, and full of flavour. Curry, rice and mains were delicious. Downsides: salt & pepper chips were soggy and expensive at £4, and the prawn crackers tasted oily. Would be great if they added fortune cookies like some local competitors. Beef & Black Bean Sauce - 4.5/5 Salt and chilli chips - 1.5/5 Chicken fried rice + rices - 4.5/5 Chicken curry - 4/5 Prawn crackers - 1/5 Chicken balls, Sauces - 5/5 Overall, very good food but the value could be better.

   Worst Chicken I’ve Ever Had – Absolutely Inedible! I can’t believe I’m writing this, but I just had the most appalling dish. I ordered what I thought would be a simple, tasty chicken dish (salt & pepper chicken), but what I got was borderline criminal. The chicken wasn’t just bad – it was old. You could taste it immediately, that unmistakable stale, almost sour flavor that tells you this chicken has been sitting far beyond its prime. It was dry, tough, and had a stringy texture that made each bite worse than the last. It’s a miracle I didn’t get food poisoning. It’s as if they’d dug this chicken out of the freezer from a decade ago, defrosted it in a microwave, and hoped nobody would notice. I noticed, and so will anyone unfortunate enough to order it. How this even left the kitchen is beyond me – do they not care about their customers’ health, let alone their taste buds? If you value your stomach (and your life), avoid the salt & pepper chicken at all costs. Actually, avoid this place

   Consistently good, always piping hot on arrival. I used to order from Delicacies of China but the last 3 orders from them were cancelled with no explanation, so Cai Ba has been my new go-to. Food is very similar between the two places but I think Cai Ba has a slight edge. The sauces have more kick and the Singapore noodles can be ordered with chow mein noodles, yum! The sweet and sour chicken balls are always tender with a crispy, fluffy breading. The satay sauce is deliciously rich and just a bit of spice. Everything tastes fresh!

   Had a few takeaways from here and always really nice. Only criticism from the last order was that I couldn’t tell the difference between the lamb and the duck, both tasted the same! Arrived lovely and hot in good time.

   Can't understand the bad reviews on here. So glad we found this place way better than any other Chinese deliveries in the area best crispy shredded beef I've ever had everything is super tasty and arrives hot
