Been having Chinese food from here for about 10years and been great, last night I spent over £50 for the family and felt that the food dishes had not been cooked properly,I think some of dishes had been microwaved and the delivery was 40 minutes late not good,food quality needs to pick up I won’t be having any more for while

Foods definitely changed in quality over the past few months. Iv ordered from here for the past 15 years and it used to be the best around, now I dont even rate it and prices have gone up a lot, more expensive compared to usual and down on quality standard.. Chips always hard and no seasoning on the salt n chill pepper. Lacking flavour big time.
Our usual takeaway was shut so we tried this one. We spent around £60. The chips were cold and hard, all the sauces were very watery, everything didn’t really have much flavour apart from the salt and chilli prawns and satay sauce. The rice had a hard feeling to it, it wasn’t uncooked but it wasn’t piping hot.
We tried this take away a few weeks ago and were very impressed with the food. My husband loves Sweet & Sour King Prawn balls, so they always get ordered when we have a takeaway and he commented that the ones from here are the best he has had. I must admit I agree. I think we have now found our go to Chinese takeaway. We have tried a few others but this is the best in our opinion. Placed an order again tonight 17.2.24. Tried some other dishes, with Prawn balls of course, once again not disappointed. Will definately keep using.

I do not like leaving negative reviews at all. I have spent the whole night and day with very difficult issues due to the food I collected from NEW CHINA TOWN. The food did not smell correct but I am a brave soul and thought I would try before I raised any concerns. The Prawns were very obviously off and contacted the take away and they informed me that no refund will be offered. I took all the food back which I hardly touched and got a very frosty response. If I did not go back my call would have been completely ignored. Any way after 3 hours they gave me my £20 back and would like to thank them for the upsetting night and day I experienced due to food. I for one and all my FB friends will not risk a second visit.
Christmas Eve. Ordered a meal for one and a meal for two and asked for the items to be tweaked a little. No problem. Food arrived faster than expected and was probably the best Chinese takeaway I`ve ever eaten. Full marks.
Used to be one of my top places in Rushden to order from, but the past 4 times have been worse and worse. The most recent was for a family gathering and the food was the worst yet. Bland, undercooked, soggy and the beef and chicken taste full of water. Really upset. Honestly a shame, but wouldn’t recommend and will not be having again.
