Just had a house special chow mein i must say it was awful no taste chicken and meat was awful 1 mushroom and the boiled rice was mushy husband had chicken fried rice again mushy overcooked rice
Decent local Chinese, ordered lots of times over the years, saw some of the recent reviews and thought I should share my positive experience and try and bump the rating up as genuinely never had a bad meal from here. I'm very fussy too.
Take away service only, the staff are friendly and the food was nice. There is a good range of dishes that seem well cooked and tasty. However some of the dishes were really sauce heavy, intact the chilli shredded beef was actually swimming which was a bit of a shame. I would eat there again but the I’ll be a little more selective with my order.
In all my years of takeaway food, this has to be the worst I’ve ever eaten. Ribs were that hard and dried out when we bit into them they crumbled and completely dried out. House special fried rice was boiled rice with a spoon of juice, carrots, cabbage and a tiny cut of meat that had no taste. When we called them they didn’t care and the lady laughed. CASH ONLY! Now we know why. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!
Very nice local Chinese takeaway, always find you get plenty of meat in the dishes and personally I find in nicer than others in the local area...very clean inside , it's always still lovely and warm even after we have walked home with it.
Guy on the front desk looks like he could do with a good wash. Special szechaun, took 2 minutes. Not fresh. Got it home and it is just a congealed mess. Been there previously and was good but whoever is cooking now needs to work in the dog food factory, saying that i chucked it in the bin cause I wouldn't even give it to the dog. Stay clear unless you haven't eaten for a month
Just had a meal for 1 from here for the first time in years. Had set meal with a swap to fried beef Cantonese style instead of chicken with vegetables. I would rate this dish 10/10. The sweet and sour pork balls were just ok as they used cheaper cuts of meat 6/10. Egg fried rice was fine. £12:20 delivered. Reasonable value and delivery within 25 minutes of ordering.
Excellent Thai takeaway. Anybody giving this takeaway a bad rating doesn't know quality. I've eaten here many times and it's always great. I've lived in Vietnam and Thailand this is as close as you'll get to the real thing. I read one bad review about the chef's should not be visible and serving parts of the chicken that isn't edible. Both are not true! And both these things are apparent in 5 star restaurants and very normal in Asia. Bon appetit
We went to this place for a takeaway, on entering the man behind the counter was on the phone. We waited a couple of minutes until he finished, there was no smile no hello and basically no manners. We ordered and I offered my card but he just said we only take cash. My partner drove home whilst i waited. A lady came in and offered her card to pay and he told her what he had told us but then said there was a cash machine in the shop along the road!!!. Why did he let my partner drive home instead of giving us the same info. The food wasn't nice either, will never use this place again.
