I’ve had many takeaways here but last night’s was the first for a long time. The special fried rice was bland, overcooked and cold. The salt and pepper chicken was again bland and stodgy. The crispy chilli beef was low on beef content with a lot more carrot than before. There wasn’t enough sauce with it and it was cold. The half duck was stringy and dried out. The above cost £50. It was very average and not worth the money.

Service was miserable. The food was awful one chicken dish the meat was undercooked and another chicken dish was clearly cooked again so over cooked and my plate was swimming in water. Also ordered no onion in noodles which they did not do. Order was just shy of £90 and no prawn crackers where given which I've never had before. Also my daughter and I have had dicky tummy in the night which passed by the morning. Will not use again and would not recommend.

Great food tubs were full beef very tender, nice to get Duck that is not shredded out of a packet. We had a family dinner with a wide choice of meals and they were all good.

Hi, Some recent poor reviews don't reflect my experience, and this has been over 20 years. So the prawn crackers aren't free but by golly they are really tasty. Even my son say so although he favours another take away for their choice. And those salt and pepper king prawns! Wait on the phone to place an order is usually short along with the convenience of ring-back when the line is freed up. Pop into the Dolphin across the road and you can have a swift drink and time your pickup to the minute. Rarely is there a delay. Enjoy. Peter G

Poor takeaway. Everything that should be crispy was chewy… crispy chilli beef made me feel sick… tasteless rubbish

Food was lovely as it always has been but the front of house atmosphere and experience was something else. Looks as if they have hired two stroppy children with no people skills to take orders and serve. Clearly no customer service experience.

We came here as other one has closed. Was staying hopeful but was sadly let down. Anything that should be crispy is soggy, most dishes were flavourless and you don't free prawn crackers, I thought that was standard in most places. Plus for the price the portion sizes were too small. Over all disappointed.
