I went to Costa tonight and I ordered my caramel latte and there was a young woman serving me. The young woman had technical issues with the payment till after a few seconds she did not even apologise to me, after the 5 to 10 minute wait. Not coming here ever AGAIN!!!
Thank you to the staff at Costa who were very friendly, supportive and helpful when our car broke down in the car park. The toasties and drinks we ordered were served quickly and with care, and the store was very clean and tidy! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed whilst we waited for recovery.
Ordered iced latte with caramel syrup and whipped cream through drive through Milk had obviously been standing out for some time in a heat wave as even with ice in it it was warm. No caramel syrup was added as requested and paid for. Drink was bitter and warm. Complete waste of £5.50. Couldn't drink it. Won't be going there again
Ordered the caramel frappe which is always my go to in Costa. I asked for extra caramel. On receiving the frappe it was exactly the same as the friend who was with me who ordered with no extras on questioning the situation was informed it was extra syrup. Again on tasting the two there was no extra as both were exactly the same. Quick enough to take your money but won't give what you ask for
Always amazing food and drinks, never been disappointed. Despite some long wait times it's absolutely worth it. The staff are wonderful and kind. The Caramel latte never fails to be delicious! Local and amazing location.
Service inside always very slow. Drive through is quicker, if not much of a queue. Even when relatively few customers inside it's always very slow with one person serving at the till and making the drinks. Quality of food and drinks is fine, consistent with other Costa outlets (although we were given the wrong drink on our last visit which contained dairy, after ordering a dairy-free drink). I would recommend using the app to order ahead for pick up if you are passing and in a hurry.
Good ship, biggest problem you have ar this costa is that if the drive through is busy it takes an age to get served and then get your coffee. Not the fault of the staff but there were 4 batista on site and they all struggled to talk to you without being interrupted by the drive through. If I was to recommend anything would be to have member of staff dedicated to shop customers.
This is a nice costa. Visited this evening and it was nice and quiet. Able to have a conversation without too much background noise. Staff were very nice and we got our drinks quickly. We were disappointed when we ordered our hot chocolates and were told they didn't have any marshmallows (despite there being a bag of marshmallows next to the till). Seemed pretty accessible, lots of room around the tables and the till. Only two disabled parking spaces and I didn't check if there was an accessible toilet. I'd definitely visit this costa again.
