Donna-Marie Hollingdale is a brilliant Dental Hygienst. She is highly skilled and very thorough. She is always caring of the needs of her clients.

Constantly getting appointments cancelled due to dentists leaving, and not seen the same dentist more then once in the 10 years I have been going. Latest says I can't contact then for 3 months to make a new appointment, and then there will be at least a 3 month waiting. Maybe they need to look at the company culture if they are unable to keep their staff.

New to the area so chose this practice based on the Google reviews and I am not disappointed. Really friendly staff on reception. Waiting area warm & welcoming. Both the dentist & hygienist really friendly, thorough and professional. Just been to see Donna-Marie (hygienist) and she gave my teeth such a good clean. Also gave some great advice. Going to a new place always causes a bit of worry for me but those worries are no more. Thank you to everyone there.

Thank goodness for Paul McAteer. I was having too many issues with my teeth (partly self-inflicted I confess), and due to previous dentists I saw, I was feeling quite sad that I was going to lose teeth and have large gaps. When Paul came along, he sorted me out over a couple of months and I am really happy with what he did for me. Top dentist, plus a smile!

I first visited in September as a new patient for an emergency appointment and I went back again today for a check up after a sedation referral. To say I am a nervous patient is a understatement, petrified is probably more accurate. Both dentists I’ve seen have been friendly, warm, empathetic, thorough and understanding. They have done more to put me at ease in two short visits than I’ve ever experienced before. Everyone is very polite and welcoming. I feel comfortable going back and would absolutely recommend them in a heartbeat. Thank you.

I have been going here for 2 years and I don't even know why I have been putting up with it. There are so many dentists who have more professional staff, better equipment, kinder receptionists and clearer on pricing. There have been many circumstances I have been unhappy with but I will name one which has pushed me to the edge now and has caused me to even write this review: I had a family emergency and tried to cancel my morning teeth whitening appointment by trying to phone the practice in the morning before 9am to let them know I would not be able to attend and it wasn't ringing, twice. I managed to get through after my appointment during opening hours and I told the receptionist on the phone I was sorry I was not able to attend due to my grandmother being admitted to hospital (not to mention I was very stressed because of that) and she gave me no sympathy whatsoever, instead she said she will speak to her manager about keeping me on the records as the dentist had travelled from somewhere else that day to attend my appointment, which I understand was annoying for him and I was the one who instead ended up empathising. She took it as me dodging appointments (even though I had paid a deposit for this appointment...). I gave my apologies and understood the situation but instead she said I could no longer book any more appointments with them. It was very unprofessional as I have been going here for some time putting up with their attitude and lack of friendliness all this time and breaking point for me as they are not even a good dentist practice in the first place, so the nerve of them to do this didn't make sense. The Bupa in Brighton is even worse, with them sneakily overcharging, not having the right equipment, rushing my appointment, constantly referring me to the other Bupas that have the right X-rays, resulting in me paying more money and travelling around. The receptionists there are even more rude, they shout and sigh at you, even when taking payments. I can't tell if they are just short staffed or just generally stressed but they do not make me feel at ease, I feel like a burden. I have been going to Bupa Seaford as it is the closest one to me and convenient to get to, but I have been going to a MUCH better dentist in Eastbourne now where the staff are friendly and make me feel at ease and the dentists themselves are so nice. There are much better dentists than this one, I do NOT recommend it based on all the experiences I have had.

I am a new patient to this dental practice, and I was very nervous. I was made to feel very welcome by all the staff. The dental work I had done was explained to me as the dentist went along, and after 4 weeks of treatment I am extremely happy with the results. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Very happy with the service provided. Reception team and my Dentist is so nice and understanding. I was afraid of getting back but they were so reassuring and made me feel that I am in safe hands. The care they provide is outstanding! There's always reminder text of appointments and also call. Thanks to Marta at reception and my dentist who's also called Marta. Both are just so lovely. I still have my dentist fear before appointments but I'm always taken care of and calmed during appointments.
