In response to the owners response regarding my recent review! Firstly you wasn’t busy! There were empty tables! May of had previous customers leftovers etc on them, maybe have more than just 2 people working would help. Communication is key in customer relations and the guy serving/bringing orders to tables lacked this in more ways then one. Regarding waiting time, it was totally unacceptable to wait the time we did let alone one persons order being brought out a further 10 minutes after the first 4! By this time the others had finished I was eating mine alone, made me feel awkward. In response to your cooking instructions, the egg was overdone itself from the (egg ring) used to cook the egg but on the top was slimy and snotty. Worse place I’ve e er ordered from and for the price you’d certainly expect more! PS, whilst there a lady came in three times just to ask how long she’d got to wait for her coffees. Avoid this place if I was you. Hopefully they improve

Visited whilst working in the area and didn’t look that busy. Placed order for 3 large breakfasts, 2 bacon buttys. With drinks. The wait time for food to arrive was ridiculous and when the guy brought the food over it was minus 1 of the large breakfasts! Nothing said by the guy, Thinking this would follow shortly I waited! 5+ mins passed and I had to ask about the 3rd breakfast to then be told it’s coming shortly the griddle is only small to cook so many things! Finally got the fifth breakfast! Let me say the wait was so not worth it! Food wasn’t very good at all eggs not cooked (very snotty) I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Dont go to Killay Cafe if you are tight for time... 20 mins to produce a pot of tea and a mediocre bacon sandwich!

Staff friendly and breakfast is lovely. Only down fall is that there doesn't seem to be WiFi and if there is the password is not displayed. Could you provide this please signal is bad in the area and this is sometime the only way to contact people when needed. Update the lady come out and give us the wifi details. Thanks

Wow what an experience at Killay Cafe, a hidden gem with great atmosphere and great coffee. One of the best coffees I endured and enjoyed for a very long time and I am moving around quite a bit! The owner is so attentive to o the customers and visitors, makes a perfect bond to enjoy a memorable moment in Sketty. I’d love to come again and make it a daily routine to come and visit again. Keep the good work and see you soon!
