Absolutely fantastic experience. I am really anxious about going to the dentist but every step of the way I was made to feel in control and comfortable. I experienced zero pain and am slowly rebuilding my fear. Thank you so much!! Incredible work
If you are looking for salesmen you have found the right place. Initial check up turned into 30 min chat about trying to get me to buy invisalign, teeth brightening, and suggesting i had 6 cavities. This was such an uncomfortable experience as I felt that the dentist was really pushy with trying to get me to immediately book everything in. Also tried to get me to pay upfront for the treatment and I had to sign something saying I will come back to get all these filled for x amount of money. This was 2-3 years ago I believe and cannot remember the guys name. Anyway obviously never went back. Had my teeth checked by another dentist who said I had one cavity … just remembered this lol. Still mad I wasted so much money on that check up.
I've always found the dentist to be a difficult place to go to, and having not always taken the best care of my teeth in the past i'm now trying to change that. Preston circus have been incredibly accommodating with this. From Imran the hygienist who works at my pace to make sure I'm not struggling through the ordeal, whilst also taking a genuine care in my dental health as well. To Sarah who is a dream dentist, who makes the checkups easy and calm. Only amazing things to say about this place and I recommend it to anyone looking for a new dentist!
I am disappointed that there is now no nhs patients at this surgery.The practice itself is very good receptionist could be more helpful and and happier.The cost of my treatment seems to be a bit dear just paid £253 for a filling x ray and check up hence in stead of a check up every 6 months it will now be every 12 months and will have to see when I can visit hygienist as can’t afford to pay this amount out for check up and hygienist.
Staff were really friendly. The dentist put me at ease as I was nervous. They were running 10 minutes behind schedule but kept me up to date about it. Will be my regular now for all my treatments.
Further to another review on here I too have found that this surgery rarely picks up the phone, and even voice messages are not returned, so if you are in need of emergency dentistry you may find yourself calling NHS 111. SERIOUSLY, i have tried phoning this practice for days on end yet no one answers the phone nor returns messages - what a way to run a practice. Follow-up: I have overheard a very elderly parent complaining about the phone's not being answered for days on end to the guy behind reception. His excuse was that he's not always at the desk. He told them to email reception instead! Come on, really! BS.I have sat there and listened to the phone's ringing and ringing whilst he's sat there doing nothing. And what about the answering machine messages he never returns! Watch out for the new dentist at the front, he is all about upselling questionably necessary private treatments over NHS treatment. Not a good replacement dentist at all. Generally this is a pretty poor NHS practice. Their focus is on Private clients. I suspect that the reception phone system is highlighting NHS patients numbers and thus this is why calls are never answered!
They kicked all the NHS patients off their list to make more money when there's not enough practises in the area as they were already oversubscribed. Got a letter asking me to rejoin as a private patient and a further letter today to say they're not even dealing with children or OAP's through the NHS anymore. Apparently this was a very difficult decision. So difficult for them that they've kicked a total of 7,250 NHS Patients off their books. Unbelievable.
I was really happy with my visit today. Had been looking for a dentist for a while and was recommended here by a friend. Dr Beshara was really helpful and the reception staff were very efficient which meant I wasn’t standing around needlessly.
