The cafè wasn't open on my visit, but that didn't matter fue to the peaceful surroundings and impressive landscaping. I can imagine it's popular on the warmer weekends when families can share a picnic. Also have tennis courts.

I have just purchased the most perfect toasted teacake and latte from this lovely coffee shop in Cwmdonkin park. I was greeted and served by the most polite and loveliest of gentleman (he could have possibly been the owner / manager), he was absolutely kind and thoughtful as it was take away order he buttered and put the jam on my tea cake for me instead of giving it to me in the little sachets. I thought that was a really kind and thoughtful thing to do and I really appreciate it, you were an absolute pleasure to be served by and to talk to, you should be proud of yourself, you are genuinely a lovely guy. So I absolutely love this place and I shall definitely be returning. I absolutely adored the customer service and the lovely gentleman who prepared and served my food with love and kindness! Thank you, kind, Sir! Your are a pleasure to meet! Sunday 27th April 2025. Update to original post!I had the pleasure to visit the lovely coffee shop again in Cwmdonkin Park today (Saturday 3rd May 2025) And had another beautiful toasted teacake and jam with a latte. I was served again by the same wonderful, kind happy gentleman as last time! It's an absolute pleasure to call here for food, the greetings are always warm, kind and genuine. The gentleman who served me I think is the manager and is an absolute beautiful person! Always smiling and always kind, I really appreciate your kindness and the food is perfect. I really can't thank you enough, absolutely perfect in every way!

Friendly kiosk serving hot drinks, cakes and ice-cream. There's outdoor seating on three sides, with partial roof cover. There's also limited seating inside for roughly 12 people. It's well kept and nice and clean. A tea and cake costs about £5 per person.

Lovely place to walk in the morning and night when its quiet . Teens/ students hang out on the bench bit sometimes but they keep to themselves . Owls foxes and lots of squirrels about and robins . Toilets are dreadful though so try go to costa before or after ; but don’t skip Dylans cafe they are really nice there and the food is really nice

We always enjoy having a coffee at the cafe and sitting outside in Cwmdonkin Park with its lovely surroundings.

Very friendly staff! My son fell and cut his finger on the slide. Went to the cafe to get a plaster. The manager there got his first aid kit out, cleaned the cut with gel and put a plaster on. He was very compassionate while doing so. What a hero. Even give my son some ice-cream. Would highly recommend this place.

What happened to this cafe???? This used to be a great little cafe with good quality food and drinks, at reasonable prices. Went there today and had 2 cakes which were very small and tasted bland, and a lolly which was no bigger than a thumb (I kid you not). Disappointed.

Lovely little café in a perfect spot. Just a great place to stop for tea, scones, ice cream or sandwiches while enjoying one of the best small parks in the UK.
