I had the pleasure of visiting this Costa on New Years Day, and I knew as soon as I took the first sip of coffee it was going to be a good year. Thank you to Jahmal for setting my year off to a good start with fabulous service and a cracking coffee.
I had the pleasure of visiting this Costa Coffee shop recently (18/11/24) and I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a well-maintained and clean seating area that made me feel right at home. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. The barista who made my coffee (I wish I’d caught their name, they were working around midday) was exceptionally friendly and professional. They took the time to prepare my order with care, and the result was one of the best lattes I’ve ever had from Costa. Perfectly smooth, with just the right balance of flavors. It’s clear that this team takes pride in what they do, and it made my experience all the more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be making a point to visit this location more often. Great job, and thank you for the wonderful service!
Costa Dunelm side. Service appalling! Hardly any choice of toasties, panini's etc. Child vegetarian. Place exceptionally quiet so no excuse to restock fridge. 3 members staff for 6 customers who'd been served. Asked for latte but info re: flavours poor. Paid for cake but didn't serve it, colleague checked order & saw it was missing. Barista couldn't wait to go into stockroom chat. Won't visit again.
Lack of toilet roll twice! Not a nice position to be in when you do a number two, and then realize there is none. too few people on shift - mid sunday seemed rushed with dirty things piling up and basic supplies not replenished. Also due to rushing food put onto just washed, wet plates and trays, butter grabbed and thrown onto plates. The people likely want to do better but have no time.
Understaffed with dirty tables. Slow and poor service. Asked for table to be cleaned and cleared. Had to ask twice to be told they are short staffed. Won't rush back. Place was messy and dirty.
Met friends and enjoyed. Coffee and food 1st class. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Seats a bit uncomfortable.
We arrived at 11:30 and the poor lady serving was the only employee there. She worked like a true professional even though there was a relentless queue and requests for pretty much every aspect of the menu. Our Coffee was perfect and food came promptly. Thank you for such great service.
