   Another good Chinese takeaway in Daventry. Always a friendly & pleasant welcoming greeting with easy parking. I usually collect, so can't comment on the delivery service. It's cash only, but the meals were always correct, piping hot, reasonably priced & most importantly very tasty. ☆☆☆☆ Gromit Stanley Rating: 80-85% VERY GOOD

   Hands down, best Chinese takeaway in town, possibly the county. Family local to Daventry for many years, lovely people. Pancakes rolls, salt and pepper prawn are my personal favourite!

   I never usually leave reviews, but this place truly deserves one. I travelled all the way from Wellingborough (almost an hour’s drive!) after hearing great things, and it still managed to exceed my expectations. You’d never think one of the best Chinese takeaways could be found in a small town like Daventry, but here we are. Chicken Chow Mein - hit the spot in all the right ways. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the chicken was fresh and tasty, and the flavours just came together beautifully. Honestly, one of if not the best I’ve ever had. Sweet & Sour Chicken - absolute top tier. Succulent and indulgent, I genuinely couldn’t get enough. The sauce was perfectly balanced, the chicken tender and juicy. Pair it with their boiled rice and you’ve got a heavenly combination. Spring Rolls - phenomenal. That perfect crunch on the outside, with fresh, flavourful vegetables inside, made for an exceptional bite every time. Easily one of the best sides to order here. The curry sauce was rich and packed with flavour - the kind that keeps you dipping back in for more. I ended up dunking my spring rolls and prawn crackers in it, and honestly that combo alone is worth trying. What really stood out besides the food was how genuinely lovely the staff were. Super polite, friendly, and just easy to talk to. You can tell they actually care about their customers and take pride in what they serve. It makes the whole experience that much better. After the drive and all the hype, I can honestly say it was completely worth it. Great food, great people, and a proper hidden gem in Daventry. I’ll 100% be back next time I’m craving Chinese :)

   Our favourite takeaway. Lovely people and the food is always hot and delivered fast. I've never had a single issue in the years we've been ordering from them. The fish and chip shop food is also the best in Daventry.

   Really busy on weekends but always worth the wait. Unfortunately cash only. Always go for the sate beef and Singapore rice extra hot! Mouth watering. Shame I live so far away so only go here once a month.

   Great food, with friendly and helpful owners. Ring ahead and collect, or wait. Either way there's ample parking nearby. I've had takeaway, both Chinese, and Fish and chips from there since I moved in the area 15 years ago, without a bad meal served. Highly recommend.
