   I've had many takeaways over many years (20+ years) from Canton House, but recently the quality of food has left me disappointed with a "hit & Miss" experience (on some occasions inedible). The Few recommendable experiences include..... (14) Pancake Roll (39a) Chicken with Spring onion & Ginger (40a) Beef in Black Pepper Sauce (40a) Beef Szechuan (40a) Beef in Satay Sauce (88) Chicken Curry (177) Chow Mein House Special (184) Chow Mein Beef (237) Egg Fried Rice It's CASH ONLY over the counter and NO On-line ordering facilities. Furthermore most of the dishes are served in smaller plastic containers (they used to be deeper) and generally very SALTY or very sweet and lesser quality than other take-aways. On the plus side, the service is always polite, friendly & very good. ☆☆ Gromit Stanley Rating: 45-50% AVERAGE COME ON CANTON HOUSE..... YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS.

   Really delicious, fresh and flavourful Chinese takeaway and genuinely lovely staff/owners. The crispy chilli chicken is easily the best we've ever had, anywhere. A real gem in Daventry town centre!

   Ordered from here the first time yesterday and never again! Literally ordered 2 curries both rice one with veg and one without and a bag of chips. I got 2 curries which didnt have any veg whatsoever and 1 burnt rice and a small burnt bag of chips which was £16.50 including delivery, i called up to say that my rice was missing and was told I had to pay £3something extra for the rice and the tiny bag of chips come with the curry hmmm, the food was absolutely disgusting and so was the service. Ill stick to my usual restaurant from now on. that'll teach me for being a traitor!!!!

   Always nice food from Canton. The best chicken balls in Daventry. Nice and crispy and not soggy and too much batter on the inside like other places. Curry is good too. Never disappoints us and we are regulars. Really nice owners and good prices.

   Great service and really friendly staff. Food has always been cooked fresh to order. Staff are always happy to help and will tailor the ingredients to your liking. Food is served promptly and with a smile. I don't know how they do it but the chips are superb.
