I had a great appointment with Jen, who gave me a full-head caramel balayage - and I absolutely love it! She made me feel really comfortable and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. Would definitely recommend!
Jen did a full head balayage with money pieces on my hair, the experience was amazing start to finish! The transformation of my hair was incredible and Jen was super lovely throughout, I will definitely be back for my next appointment and my hair is fresh and perfect for christmas.
Joe was lovely and gave me a really helpful and thorough consultation before going in on the cut. He also helped to advise about parts of the cut where I didn't know what would look best. Joe gave my hair a lovely shape which brought out my curls really nicely, and he nailed all the details like fringe and face framing. And, he didn't cut off more than I wanted gone, which I'm always anxious about at any hairdressers. Now I've got a really pretty shag-esque style and I don't think my hair's had this much volume from a cut before. Thanks so much!
I will 100% order from North Laine Hair again. I placed an order for Redken products on Monday 17th November 2025 at 2pm and it arrived today (19th November), really quick service! I haven’t used the products yet, but I’m already a Redken fan, and I know hair products can be a very personal experience. Still, the fast delivery, the nice packaging, and the free sample treatment (I did order quite a bit!) made me feel they deserved a proper shout-out and a solid 5-star review.
I love my hair! Mary was brilliant. She was able to give me exactly the layered textured wolf cut style that I wanted. She also gave me some great tips for waving and styling my hair. A friendly salon, Mary put me at ease with her friendly conversation. Thanks again - I will definitely be back.

Great experience as usual back at North Laine. In the past year I’ve tried another salon on repeat to no joy, you just can’t beat the professionalism, ease of booking and lovely staff here! Great cut with Lucy who took on board all my issues and time I was spending on my hair daily. I was in and out of the salon in the space of my lunch hour.
This is the friendliest hairdressers ever! Having had a lot of previous hairdressers not listening or looking at photos properly I’m an overly anxious customer! Albert is so friendly and relaxed, welcomes all my many photos, double checks what I mean and cuts my short Bob hair exactly as I ask. I highly recommend!
