   Absolute waste of time. I booked a 1-hour aromatherapy massage, drove all the way to Worthing, paid £3.30 for parking, arrived 10 minutes early, and was then told to my face that they don’t do massages for men. This was NOT stated anywhere during the booking process. If you refuse male clients, you should not allow bookings from them. Simple. Instead, I lost time, money, and made a completely pointless journey because of your failure to communicate basic information. Totally unprofessional and incredibly frustrating. Avoid unless you enjoy having your time wasted.

   *Read before buying groupon deals for this place* I found this amazing groupon deal for 6 session laser hair removal for about £70 down from £1200. I called and booked what was meant to be a consultation and a patch test. I arrived at this place and walked in. It was completely empty, dark and stuffy. A woman appeared, I assumed the owner, as she was the only soul on site. She had no idea about my booking, but she offered to do the patch test for me (not sure what happened to the consultation bit). Everything was rushed and I felt like a nuisance. We went upstairs. I noticed the place was messy and dusty, like an airtight ghost town. In the room upstairs, the owner did not wash or sterelise her hands before treatment. She popped some plastic goggles on me with cotton disks inside each goggle (I assume this is their method of keeping things clean) and performed the patch test whilst I was standing in the doorway and holding my bag. The patch test lasted about 3 seconds. I felt cold gel (used for IPL, as laser is done without any product) applied to my leg, then the IPL machine was switched on and off once on the spot the gel was on. Reader, IT IS IPL THEY GIVE YOU, NOT LASER. And IPL at the lowest setting at that. They blatantly lie on Groupon about laser. Btw, on their website they do not offer laser hair removal services... The whole time, I wasn't asked a single question. Anyone who's ever had laser will tell you a consultation is a must as there is a lot of questions to go through. When we were back downstairs (30 seconds later), I asked how long laser hair removal sessions would last on my legs. Typically, it takes 2-3 hours to laser full legs. Well, the owner said 30 mins. I felt very uneasy at this point. Then I looked at the beauty salon owner's toenails (do not look, I warned you) and felt even more perturbed at the idea of this beautician providing beauty services. The owner proceeded to book a session for me and offered me to buy more cheap laser deals on the spot for other areas, which I declined. The appointment was subsequently rescheduled by the owner once. For obvious reasons, I decided not to proceed. When I turned up to find out what I need to do to get a refund, the place was completely empty again and the door was locked with a note stuck to the door saying something like "be back at X time". The people in Worthing seem to steer well clear of this "salon". I waited and returned. The owner was not happy I turned up as she was walking around in the dark talking on the phone. She did not even put the phone down as she listened to why I was there (mind you, I had a "laser" hair removal session scheduled). The owner seemed relieved to be rid of me and I was ecstatic, too. She seemed cool about it, she said contact Groupon and if you have any trouble, call and I will sort it out with Groupon. Well, guess what, Groupon did not want to refund me, surprise-surprise. I send the "salon" an email to no response. I then rang twice in a row and nobody answered. I got someone else to call on my behalf from their number and the owner picked up instantly. Once she was told what the call was about, she hung up. Atrocious place, avoid at all cost. The owner is rude. They misrepresent their services. The place is unhygienic. I got my money back in credits and we are going to a lovely local restaurant instead :) P.S. It would be so ironic if the owner responded to my review after they've ignored my calls and emails, and hung up on me haha

   After reading quite mixed reviews I was a bit unsure what to expect when I booked for my hair appointment but I was so pleased with the end result. The hairdresser did a great colour and cut on my hair and finished it off with a blow dry. She was also very friendly and chatty and the whole experience was relaxing, I couldn't fault it and would definitely go back!
