Second visit to Cuttlefish Eco Salon for a haircut. Jimo cut my hair again and I am so happy with the cut! He is very knowledgeable and take time and attention to detail. Definitely my go to Salon and Stylist!
I sent the link to this salon to my partner and it somehow had all my details in her booking. So this review is on behalf of her. My partner has been disappointed with every haircut she’s had for over 2 years now, but I saw a friend of mine post this salon on his insta story few weeks back and I recommended it to my partner. She was absolutely over the moon with how Jimo cut her hair. His genuine care and attentiveness to her needs. He knew exactly what to do and exactly how to make the style she wanted work with her look. 10/10 absolutely recommend.
As always, I had a great experience with Cuttlefish today. I was offered an iced matcha which was such a treat on a hot day! I had my hair washed (with a head massage - best bit!). All of the staff were professional, friendly and welcoming. Charlotte is a brilliant stylist and gave me a gorgeous haircut. She makes you feel very safe in her hands and I always leave feeling swishy and beautiful.
Treated my wife to get her hair done. She had colour and cut with Hettie. She came home so pleased and happy. Couldn’t stop raving about her hair and experience. She loved the salon and loved Hettie. 100% recommend checking this place out!!
Despite the whole street having a plumbing issue that knocked their running water out it's still 5 stars. They rang ahead to make me aware, offering either a different appointment or to keep mine with a discount (and either spray cut or wash my own hair). As I'm letting my hair go curly with the help of my stylist I opted for a spray/dry cut and to be honest I think I was happier with the results! I had followed the advice given at my last appointment, which meant my hair had started to curl better which allowed the stylist to cut into their shape, giving a more natural shape with more movement. I wear it down all the time now which was the aim after decades of scraping it back. It was a shame to not have the hair wash and a cuppa but I thought they handled the problem they had no control over professionally and gave me options. Will definitely return and recommend, especially if you are looking to free a curl!
What a wonderful place! My wife has disabilities which affect her mobility: the staff here went out of their way to accommodate her and make her feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and she felt like a queen! The quality of styling and colouring is unrivalled and she adores her new hairdo. Thank you so much :-)

One of the cutest salons I have been to, and Max, hands down is one of the best hair dressers I have ever been to! Colours and cuts my hair exactly how I want it!
I had my hair cut by James, and he was absolutely fantastic! All the staff were lovely, and the salon had a lovely vibe. I went in with no idea what to do to my hair or how to manage my naturally wavy hair and I was taught how to style it best, and my cut is lovely and really suits my face! Thank you to everyone!
Amazing hair salon using vegan and eco friendly products. Talia seems to know exactly what colour I want even when I don’t! On my last visit I asked for something that would blend with my greys rather than covering them up. I honestly looked about 10 years younger when she was done. Such a talented colourist! My last curly cut with Fab was so good that people asked if I’d had a perm! Talia and Fab are my hair’s dream combo. Never had so many compliments! I’ve moved out of Brighton now but I still won’t go anywhere else to get my hair done. ♥️
