   My first visit to Shine and cut with Colette . I’m delighted with my new haircut. I don’t always enjoy going to the hairdressers but the atmosphere in Shine is really chilled and relaxing. All the staff are lovely and very friendly as well as being professional. Would definitely recommend.

   I always love coming to Shine. I’m made to feel comfortable and super relaxed with a head massage. The stylists are lovely, especially Marianne and Charlotte who make me feel like an absolute goddess. I always leave feeling fabulous. Easily recommended to my friends.

   Paid £72 to have a hair cut with the salon director. I showed pictures and was very specific about how I wanted the shape at the back. The cut I got was a poor shaped long bob, nothing like what I had asked for. Half way through the cut, he went off to talk to someone and I was left sitting with wet hair, this happened again mid blow-dry. I contacted the salon after washing my hair at home & seeing how bad the cut was; stated I was very unhappy and asked for a refund, only to be told no & to pop back in so he could 'adjust the cut' (I got the impression it would be a quick dry cut between other clients). Said I didn't feel confident to experience a second attempt and asked for partial refund, was refused: not even a 'sorry you're not happy'. Very disappointing & a complete waste of money. I went elsewhere to get it reshaped.

   I was to have a lot of work done on my hair for my 40 th and the team knew my mum was terminally ill so they knew life was hard . The day of my cut my dog died , she was my whole world not having children . I was spoken to with compassion however my deposit was kept . It’s taken me this long to speak up

   After a hair-colour-went-wrong, I went to Johnathan and he saved me! He was really helpful and patient with me and gave me many options to help correct something that I really wasn't happy with. He did an absolutely brilliant job, I'm so happy with the results! Shine is an excellent salon with so many talented people working there. It's a very calm and friendly environment. Highly recommend!
