BEWARE! Drivers cane to pick up our donated furniture and damaged our property. When we informed YMCA they stalled on getting back to us but ultimately after weeks of chasing they are pushing all responsibilities to the van driver that they SUBCONTRACTED and refused to take any responsibility. We were told to speak to the van driver directly which is completely unacceptable as they have hired them rather than us. AVOID DONATING HERE.

Looked round the shop this morning, i mislaid my shopping bag. Within 5 minutes i noticed i didn’t have my bag. I went back into the shop and asked if the bag had been handed in. Yes it had the only item was a £2 bag of crisps. These had been taken out and left on a table and looked to have been tampered. I asked why and all i got was sorry. I can say i am not happy with the staff behaviour.

Tried to returned back some trousers with the YMCA recipt because they didn't fit me 4 days after I bought them. Paul, the guy managing the shop, didn't allow me even that i was following all the refound policy conditions. He was very rude.

Paul and the store manager (whose name I forgot to ask for) were extremely accommodating when my mum & I bought and transported a huge (and well-priced!) TV from this store. They went out of their way to help us make arrangements and get it to her car. Couldn't recommend enough!

Hit and miss with this store. Lots of large furniture (sofas, sidebords, wardrobes) but clothing and toys can be very sparse in range and good quality. Some good bric a brac items. I do pop in when I'm I'm this part of city for a quick look. Well laid out store, easy to move around and not cluttered.

Tried to have a constructive conversation with the lady about the pointlessnes of having the Covid QR code positioned below waist height at store entrance. She was more interested in arguing why she is right then listening to constructive feedback from customers.

Recently opened charity shop in units 27 & 28 where Poundworld used to be near Boots on Ground Floor. Spacious, light and airy shop selling furniture, sofas, lots of clothes, some bags, shoes, a little bit of seasonal stuff, bric-a-brac and they accept cards and contactless as well as cash. However the woman I was served by on the day I went in was rude. I’ve walked passed the place several times since and place always looks empty of shoppers unlike other charity shops in the city centre.
