The Best Haircut Experience I've Ever Had! I recently visited Teddy Edwards Cutting Room in Hove and it was an absolutely awesome experience from start to finish. The whole process was seamless—I booked online and walked right in with zero waiting time. The atmosphere is fantastic: very friendly, spacious, and the interior decor is top-notch. Plus, the location is great and easy to find. My barber, Paul, is truly amazing. I asked for a skin fade and he executed the style perfectly. It was clear he has incredible skill. This is, without a doubt, the best haircut experience I have ever received. Highly, highly recommend!

I am extremely disappointed with the service. My husband came home upset after his haircut, and it was clear he hadn't noticed how bad it was until later. He was left with sideburns that were uneven, the top of his hair looked messy even after being slicked back, and his beard was crooked despite being shaved with a razor. Honestly, this was the worst barber experience we've had in Brighton.
Thought I’d try it out but they do standard haircuts that they charge abhorrent rates for. So I went back to my original barber, I like the social atmosphere though. You can save so much money by going to the plethora of barbers on Boundary Road. REPLY: Google doesn't give me the option to respond to the owners comment, so I am editing this review instead. My visit was a while ago but Google prompted me to review yesterday for some reason. Yes you make a good point about the ground rent, but do you think your customers consider this when they enter your premesis? I am purely comparing the cut I received from your establishment to my local barber on Boundary Road. I still don't think you're worth it, furthermore I visited based on a friends recommendation who drives over to you (he still loves you guys). I think it's an unneneccassary amount of money to spend for a basic cut. What I mean is no one looked at me and said "nice cut" but they do with my local barber because they cut better than your establishment. I am purely comparing skill.

Excellent hairdresser - they listen to your needs and give you the best haircut you can hope for. An added bonus is a great and friendly atmosphere. If you are passing through Hove train station - pop out for a quick cut and you won't be disappointed. Oh, did I mention that they take care of beards as well?
My hair is like a badgers (disclaimer: I never touched that badger). Thick and mostly grey. In fact, it's almost impossible to tame. That was until I chanced upon Ally at Teddy's. He took the time to feel my badger, understand its curious ledges and dips. Ally took his time and between us we now own the wild beastie. I also like to overshare with Ally and he never outwardly judges. He also does a careful job on my bushy monobrow... in summary great barbers, atmosphere, people and booking is easy. Just leave Ally alone boy is mine.
