I've been going to Lewis for 4 years now and follow him wherever he goes—he's that good! Consistent perfect cuts every time, great attention to detail, and always a chill vibe. Highly recommend if you want someone reliable who really knows hair. Best barber I've ever had!

Always constant good cuts for me and mates, nice atmosphere. Dan the owner is lovely, always listens to what you want instead of what they like cutting, will always help/advise if you're not sure. Best place in Brighton imo.

Dan is a legend - I used to get trimmed by him up in London and now actually make the journey to Brighton for my cuts. He's that good! I have pretty long hair and Dan smashes out these dream cuts every time. 10/10 stuff.
The shop is just a vibe. My guy Adrian makes you want to go to the shop for more than a cut. Always very chatty and feels like a friend and is a proper laugh love his energy. Been cut by him for years and never misses.
Dan is the man when it comes to getting a trim. Absolutely lovely guy, makes you feel at ease and like you have known him for years, effortlessly engaging in conversation with me and my 11 year old son, as well as my pal and his son. Gained 4 permanent new customers for Dan! We all left feeling great both in terms of our haircuts and also like we’d just had the best chat with a mate in ages. Cannot recommend Dan highly enough - legend!
I moved to Brighton around a month ago and was looking really hard to find a decent barber. I walked into Black Lamour and was greeted by Adrien who on record is probably not only the nicest barber of all time but has incredible detail. Made me feel very comfortable and was always asking questions about how I would like my style. Honestly, cannot recommend enough and will 100% be returning regularly.
