We recommend Matt at Pelham barbers to anyone that asks. Our son, now 7, has been going since his first cut. Matt is patient, kind and always spot on to any cut asked of him. Also, Matt is never phased if he’s asked things like “Can I look like Messi” or “Can I get lightning bolts”. The shop is very welcoming, and a lovely place to sit, relax and have a good chat.

We went to Matt for our daughters first hair cut. From start to finish Matt was professional and approachable, and was happy to give our daughter reassurance when needed as she was a little unsure about what to expect (he even saved her first curls for us!). Our daughter smiled throughout and even got a juice and sweet as a well done at the end. Thank you Matt for turning Amelie’s first hair cut into a great experience! We will be back!
Matt is a very good hairdresser, both in cutting women's and men's hair. His a good stylist and has a lovely clean salon. He now is my regular hairdresser having been to him 3 times. He has a cheerful manner and he's polite.
