Emma is an incredible hair stylist! She has a strong warmth about her that made me feel very welcome in the space, and was very relaxed but still professional and confident, which made me know I was in good hands. I trusted in her recommendations and left feeling the best I’ve ever felt about my hair. So glad I gave this spot a go, definitely coming back for my next cut :)
Retro Pink@Blue Barbers is a wonderful hidden gem away from the main hustle and bustle of the city centre. My partner and I treated ourselves to long overdue haircuts and had the pleasure of having our cuts with Dennis. It would be rude not to as he shares his name with my partner! He was not only very thorough and detailed, he was charming, kept us amused, plus he gave us loads of local trip and days out ideas, impressing us with his knowledge and recommendations as we have only recently moved to the area. I don't ever remember laughing and enjoying a haircut so much! AND the prices are incredible, too! The salon upstairs is gorgeous and the rapport amongst the whole team is adorable. The salon is amazing with its retro feel and memorabilia. It took me right back to my childhood! Dennis even has his name sake Beano comics, not just on display but for people to read. That certainly beats the usual salon magazines! We left with fantastic new haircuts, plus aching bellies from laughing so much! We will absolutely be going back and cannot recommend Retro Pink@Blue Barbers enough!
Talented & friendly - Best salon ever! Emma did an incredible job matching my natural colour and highlighting it perfecting. She was also able to pull off a messy long-bob, exactly how I asked for it. From my previous experience these are tough things to do, so I'm very happy. More than this though, Emma and Dennis were both so welcoming and accommodating. I felt wonderfully taken care of and will definitely be coming back.
It was such a pleasure to meet Den and Emma for the first time today. Emma did amazing things with my hair, she listened, advised and made me feel at home. Den has created a fantastic salon environment with attention to detail and quality. He clearly cares deeply about both his staff and customers. I would highly recommend this salon and I will be back for a haircut in the new year!
Emma is brilliant, a great professional who made me feel welcome and took the time to understand my needs. I had highlights done, and they turned out to be a great colour match to my lengths, and they blended in so nicely with my natural hair colour, too. Additionally, I had a lovely Olaplex conditioning treatment, cut and blow dry. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming, I’d definitely recommend!!
Situated at 2 Victoria St which is just off Upper St when you get near St.Magdelens church. Lovely minimal decor and professional seating, certainly a cut above the rest pun intended, great if you hate the hussle and bussle of the high street and want somewhere more exclusive and reserved for the more diserning lady and gentleman then this is the place. The staff were very welcoming , not sure about drinks best to phone and check.
