No idea why the barber gave me some sort of mini fade when I didn't ask. Randomly took off my sideburns to a level of a fade and left it there. The back neck he took an inch too high for a natural back. This is the worst haircut of my life!! I will be removing these barbers from my rotation for good!!

Had an amazing experience at Zack's Barber! The barber gave me the best fade, listened to exactly what I wanted, and even offered a hot drink. Great service and atmosphere! And Adam is my Barber.

I recently visited Zack’s Barber Shop, and I must say, the experience was absolutely top-notch. Adam was my barber, and he did an exceptional job from start to finish. I opted for a taper fade, a beard shape-up and trim, along with a face mask and hot towels. Adam's attention to detail was impeccable—he made sure the fade was perfectly blended and the beard was shaped to perfection. It’s clear he takes great pride in his craft. The hot towels and face mask were the icing on the cake, adding a luxurious touch to the experience. Not only did it feel incredibly relaxing, but my skin felt rejuvenated afterward. Adam was professional, friendly, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the session. The shop itself had a welcoming atmosphere, and you could tell cleanliness and customer service are top priorities. I left feeling confident, refreshed, and already looking forward to my next visit. If you’re looking for a barber who knows what they’re doing, ask for Adam at Zack’s Barber Shop. Highly recommended!

When I was a kid, there was only ever one barber. Always some old dude who just did the same thing for everyone to sit in the chair. Saturday mornings were always busy and I once announced in a cracking 11 year old voice that 'I wanted something for the weekend please, why do you never ask me?' - which is when I found out that before free condoms and condom machines in pub toilets were a thing, the barber who cut your hair tried secretly selling you a pack of condoms with the phrase 'and something for the weekend?'. I said no - I don't like chewing gum... So, I've passed Zacks Barbers (between Preston Circus and Preston Park) a few times. It seems to me to have a modern, trendy vibe - without being either a totally hipster cerulean tiled walls 'male experience salon' or a front for some swarthy two bit local money laundering gangsters with black and white pictures of Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, Fabio and Leonardo DiCaprio bluetacked to the wall. [sigh]. I actually filled out the online booking form the evening before - I think the site's a work in progress - it isn't as polished as the plate glass windows are. Offering the whole gamut you expect today from a £10 clipper buzzcut, scissor cuts, fades, beard stuff, the hot towel shave up to the somewhat mysterious hour long £35 Total Package, whatever that might be...!! Thanks to Adam for taking a wild mountain man gorilla abomination and turning it into the great looking, tidy, no daily upkeep routine required I asked for. A younger guy was all Edward Scissorhands who took care of my buddies cut - slightly more rigorous requirements than mine - he still blew it out of the water too. No ears wafted with flaming torches or unexpected facial massages but I suppose you could ask if you want. It's nice when a dude finds a good vibe or fit or regular barber/chair/shop - it's one less complication of life sorted, and by choice instead of necessity too. Twenty quid for half an hour is my barber comfort zone and when you get a neck taper without asking for one, you know you've been dealing with a professional. Highly highly recommended

Nice treatment. Third time and will go back. Complementary drink. I had to tip.

Been here for a standard haircut a few times, used to be excellent and amazing quality cuts, but now that a few of the good barbers have left it has gone down in standard. One of the new barbers is definitely too inexperienced to provide good cuts! Its a shame because I always liked the place

Such a great, positive and comfy place. Got a haircut from a nice and kind woman, very satisfied with the result, definitely will be my first barber shop choice.

Have tried most of the barbers in the area and never found one that actually listened to what I wanted so decided to try Zack’s Barbers. As soon as I walked in I was given a warm welcome and offered a choice of refreshments. Sidar was the barber that cut my hair and actually listened to what I wanted. It was the best cut I’ve ever had !! Showed great attention to detail and the cut was not rushed at all…. I also had the facial with the hot towel. The whole experience was the best I’ve ever received and the prices are cheapest in Brighton in my view. Can’t recommend Zack’s enough and of course Sidar. Try them you won’t be disappointed at all. If I could rate them higher I would !! Thank you Sidar
